We wanted a place for a quiet night with a chat and a nice meal. The Old Rectory was exactly what we wanted. The room was well equipped and clean as was the bathroom. The dinner was good and the location is very quiet. The staff were very friendly and working very hard. There seemed to be only one person... More

Even had the option to have fresh flowers and chocolate in the room. There was alsp a well stocked mini bar in the room of we didn't feel like going... More

Fantastic service and a lovely hotel room. This is a beautiful old building with lots of space and features. We stayed in a comfortable room with a spa bath. Bathroom was a little cold but there was an extra heater already on in the bedroom so it warmed up quickly! Excellent water pressure and a delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend... More

Lovely Hotel, Warm & Inviting. Breakfast Enjoyable Hot and in Plenty. On our arrival Natalie was on duty, nothing was too much trouble for her, even down to checking some information we needed from the Internet. The hotel is set in a [dare I say] a typical English village. Would definitely have a return visit, in the not too distant... More

Stayed here for 1 night when passing through the area. The hotel is pleasantly situated in large grounds with plenty of parking. The dining room is at the rear with views over the large garden and the rooms are well equipped though wi-if was a bit weak. A squeaky floor in my room was a bit irritating and it should... More

The building and grounds of this Hotel are excellent and maintained to a high standard. We had booked the four poster room (room 4) and our friends were in the Half Corona Suite (room 16) - both rooms were spacious and well appointed and were very good value for money. Staff were friendly and professional (if a little distracted at... More

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and found the hotel and grounds to a high standard and enjoyed the rooms you booked. Its always good to hear that guests have enjoyed their stay. It was a shame that your stay was marred by your friends car being damaged. The is the first time an incident of this nature has... More

Offroad parking in own grounds, so no road noise or parking problems. Clean, spacious, comfortable room. Staff generally friendly. Dinner good, although the portion of pork medallions was small for the price. Breakfast - I only ordered three elements of the Full English, so thought that one sausage and HALF a slice of black pudding was a tad parsimonious. Also... More
