Set on the side of a hill near the quirky village of Allauch the hotel gave us an ideal position to visit Marseille and the surrounding countryside. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for a quiet getaway. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely hotel. Very clean and friendly. Swimming pool a plus. Ideal for visiting Marseilles and Aix. Only downside - a lack of affordable eating places in the area. However Adriana and Luca will cook you an evening meal Mon-Thurs. more

We only had three nights at Les Cigales and loved every minute of it. The hosts are very friendly, always ready to help with suggestions, and with a great sense of humour. The room was not fancy but cozy and impeccably clean. After a long day of sightseeing it was great to swim in and relax by the fair-sized pool.... more

The hotel staff was friendly and the chambers clean. We slept in a room with a view on the swimmingpool. It was a bit pitty that there was not a public computer with internet. We enjoy for six days very much our stay. more

Warm welcome. Charming rooms. Extremely clean. Beautiful pool. Delicious food. Delightful coffee. Great location (if you have a car). Good touristic advice. Affordable prices. Book it now! It's a great choice! more

I have just returned from 5 nights at Hotel Les Cigales. The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. The decor has a classy, country feel to it and the pool and terrace areas were great. We were looking for a quite good hotel, where we could find friendly welcome together with swimming pool and excellent services. We love, at all, a pleasant homely atmosphere and we found it. Thank you very much. We will came back certainly. more
