My family have each just so loved Palazzo Visdomini and recently we were lucky enough to spend the most relaxing few days there. As we entered we were greeted by Andrea and immediately we felt we were genuinely welcome .The entrance hall and sitting room ooze that special feel of Old Italy . The garden is a haven of peace... Beautifully restored building where art meets luxury. Andrea is a wonderful host and really made us feel at home. The rooms are big and of a high standard. The garden is a hidden gem - we wish we could have spent hours relaxing there. Nice breakfast. One thing to remember is that the rooms overlooking the garden get a bit... More

A piece of old Italy tucked in a pedestrian area of quaint buildings and churches. Convenient to walk to historic sites, shops, art galleries and restaurants. Our apartment was attractively decorated with Italianate furnishings and art work. The patio area in the rear is landscaped, private and a lovely place for breakfast or a dip in the small pool. Our apartment... More

We have rented all or part of this residenza during several summers over the past 10 years, with family and friend staying. Beautifully restored. Great location for just walking around the town, finding a good place to eat out, cycling to the beach club, come back for a private swim. Quirky, but in a good way - they leave a... More

What a wonderful place! We have recently returned from our stay at Palazzo Visdomini & our holiday couldn't have been better. With just 6 suites, this hotel, the former residence of a noble Florentine family, presents a very personal experience & a real slice of authentic Italy. The Palazzo is beautiful. Antique laden & adorned with contemporary artworks. Our suite... More

Stayed here for 2 weeks in June and loved it. Travelled the world and stayed in the finest hotels but Visdomini special. Andrea and his team could not have been more hospitable. Small intimate surroundings which takes you by surprise once you check in..Relax in the garden with a glass of Prosecco or later in the eve in the small... More

it feels like going back in time, the suites are beautiful, elegant and very comfortable. Quality/value is very good, down to every detail, linen, service and bathroom products. The staff in extremely nice and helpful. People who complain about breakfast should understand that if you want eggs and bacon you do not go to traditional Italian places. It was perfectly... More

The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful to us. I stayed there with my sister and we had one of the suite rooms which was beautifully decorated. The linens were excellent and the bed very comfortable. My sister slept on the pull out sofa and found it very comfortable as well. The breakfast was lovely and the... More

They really need to try harder to make the experience a complete and joined-up one. The suites are just fabulous but the breakfast is a sad offering. There is food but it's neither of quaity nor is it abundant. There is juice but it is out of a carton, there is cake and bread but they are out of a... More

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at Visdomini in the lovely Pietrasanta. Visdomini is a beautiful old building in the town and is walking distance to everything Pietrasanta has to offer. The air conditioned suites are very comfortable and ours consisted of a large bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette and bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. I would have... More
