Really, this small hotel could not be better. We arrived by train from Venice, and after some initial confusion, were picked up by hotel staff. We were warmly welcomed and upgraded to a stunning and spacious room on the second floor. The hotel is historic and elegant and decorated with stunning art. The breakfast room is set in a lush... Our stay at Pietrasanta was simply nice and was the perfect beginning of our two weeks in Italy. The hotel is located in a quiet area even though is very close to the center of the town. It is impeccable and the rooms are very spacious and all the rooms are decorated differently. The common areas have a lot of... More

My wife and I stayed at Albergo Pietrasanta last week on the final leg of our Italian Honeymoon, as we travelled through Tuscany headed up the coast towards Liguria and Portofino. Reception upon arrival at the hotel was charming, and the room was stylish, spacious and comfortable. As SLH members, we were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade. The... More

A charming friendly home from home in an utterly charming village! Barbara the GM was welcoming, friendly and personable. Room upgrade saw us enjoy a large very comfortable space with many windows. So our only regret was no turndown service which meant we had to close all curtains to avoid early morning light. Village is delightful and this hotel is... More

Absolutely lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel does not have a restaurant but the staff are good a finding and recommending paces to eat. Breakfast in the conservatory is a great way to start the day and the coffee is very good. Pietrasanta itself was a lovely find – great restaurant and excellent galleries. Would highly recommend.

We loved this place, both the town, and the Albergo. The town was a surprise, a very nice one, great restaurants, very attractive, and the hotel was wonderful. Great rooms and bathrooms, and we loved the lounge on the ground floor,so stylish and comfortable. We enjoyed a beautifully presented bottle of chilled Prossecco with complimentary appetizers, perfect after a wonderful... More

Albergo Pietrasanta is a charming hotel, with beautiful rooms, well situated in the heart of Pietrasanta, which is a lovely medieval village full of art and wonderful restaurants. Well situated for touring the region. Many thanks to Laura for her hospitality and help! Best regards, Gordon and Wendy van Welie

Superbly large rooms in the heart of Pietrasanta a charming Tuscan artist village. Comfortable bed and nice details and a huge bathroom with soaking tub. My wife and I loved it! Really close to beaches and Lucca. Recommend highly for luxury stay away from the masses. Delicious breakfast....try the apple fritters!

Our sliced fried apples are becoming a "must" for our guests and I am so very glad that you could appreciate something our chef Giuseppe cooks. It used to be a special treat for us when children and now we make it as a special treat for you, my guests :-).Barbara More

The hotel is a lovely small gem situated in the town of Pietrasanta, which is an art and cultural mecca. The rooms are beautifully appointed and well kept. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to provide expert service without being obtrusive. General Manager, Barbara, welcomes you as one would welcome guests to their home. Her advice... More
