A nice hotel near by the ikea office. Good rooms, good bed, good breakfast. It's an average place but cosy in its own way. It's a tremendous international environment with people from ikea offices all over the world visiting. You can get a meal in the evening and s drink in the bar, should you wish.

The IKEA hotel has been around for many years, getting the occasional facelift and expansion. It's now a bit of a sprawling beast, with the "IKEA Tillsammans" visitor center in the same building. It is clearly a hotel that exists primarily to host IKEA employees on business trips. Parking is plentiful and easy. It is also not far from the... More

Had an overnight stay on business Saturday to Sunday, and was met by a very friendly and competent young receptionist. We got the quiet room we had asked for during booking, and she arranged a small breakfast packet since we were to leave at 5:30am. Room at ground level towards the inner lawn, chairs outside the room, if just the... More

Stayed here for 4 days for business. Friendly and efficient checkin. Rooms very basic, clean and comfortable. With tv and lamp. Bathroom with shower and shower curtains. Restaurant food ok nit enough variety. Hotel is overall clean and comfortable and very basic. Mostly used for ikea coworkers. Near the train station around 10 min walk and there are restaurants nearby.... More

The hotel is basic, with wifi, with breakfast, which was slightly changed during 7 last years, but for a business trip it's more than enough for few says :) Lunch is also worth to try, also popular for dinner!

Stayed with a group of 26 and have no complaints. The rooms are clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Good Wi-Fi and internet facilities. Breakfast was simple but good. The whole hotel is very IKEA and most of the guests work for IKEA, but there are a few tourists, so don't let that put you off. The hotel is close... More

Simplicity - clean, comfortable, IKEA design and reasonably priced. I stayed with a large group of 26 and we liked the hotel and had no complaints. Almhult is a lovely place but it is quiet and you should have that in mind depending on the nature of your visit.

This hotel exemplifies the best of Ikea design, and you can see it in the very fresh public spaces: the entry, dining room and lounge. The rooms are simple and utilitarian and the breakfasts delicious and plentiful, so in my cost:value ratio the overall experience rates high. Not to mention Örjan, the most delightful night clerk, who provided this jet-lagged... More

Very welcoming - good food - meatballs to die for - everyone drives a Volvo - ok most people !!!, they sure do like Elk out here, and lots of herring etc - please don't mention the Swedish chef from the muppets, I think it's like the Egyptian street pedlars trying to do a Del Boy impression to get your... My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night only. The staff was friendly and courteous and offered a little bit of insight on the surrounding area and things to do in Almhult. The hotel itself feels more like a hostel/university dorm. I am not sure what I was expecting, but after learning more about the history of... More
