Spent 11 weeks traveling from the West Coast to the East coast and we met 99.9% nice people, having a good time and helping each other when ever needed. As with most things in life, there is always someone in the crowd that doesn't get the rules of the game and this is true for Goose Hollow Campground. The sites... More

We stayed here this past Labor Day weekend. Having grown up camping I've been to some great camp grounds and some really not so good places. We were worried upon reading all the negative reviews. George gave us a site which was not close to the river. I called the next day and he was able to move us closer.... More

The bad "vibe" starts at the entrance. They threaten to "fine" you for speeding and to charge you for an early arrival. They claim to be friendly but we saw both owners and neither one acknowledged us. The speed bumps throughout the facility bottomed out our SUV every time we drove in and out. In the bathrooms there is a... More

My wife and I have traveled from coast to coast in our RV and have stayed in at least 75 campgrounds across the country. We spent 5 days at Goose Hollow with several friends who have three seasonal sites. I would have to rate Goose Hollow as one of the top 5 that we've stayed at and I know our... More

This was one of the worst camping experiences I've ever had. First let me state that I've been camping since I was a baby. I've camped with my parents, friends, and various family. I've camped in RV type parks, private tent sites, national parks, state parks, and remote sites I back packed hours/days to get to. This particular weekend I... More

We stayed in a tent in the shady pines section of Goose Hollow for two nights. The sites were shaded and grassy which was very nice. The kids enjoyed the pool though it would fill up quickly on a busy weekend as it's not very large. The bathrooms were functional but the showers were not my favorite part of the... More

This is a great place to stay. There is 20, 30, and 50 AMPs available, you need to ask at the office. The owners a friendly and the place is clean and quiet. It is great that they offer pets on site. The pool is excellent and a good playground for the kids. Great place to stay with the family!!

We arrived Friday to find a very nice campground, very clean and neat. Office staff was great and basically the only time we saw or dealt with staff. We had heard differently but it was nice to see it was not true. Tubing on the Mad River was fun. Site were fine but no 30 amp service. Will return.
