Stayed here for a business trip and fell over it on Google. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We ate in the bar and had a very decent meal, home cooked, tasty and well priced. The rooms were clean and tidy whilst the bathrooms a little "old-fashioned" but everything worked well. The Scottish cooked breakfast was huge and... More

I stayed here to visit my daughter who moved in with her fiancé while they were settling in. It is a great hotel and the staff could not be more friendly. My daughters fiancé moved in February and the staff were all so helpful towards us. Had a meal on the Friday night and it was exquisite. Main meal has... More

We stayed here as a group of 6 adults in 3 desperate double rooms. The rooms were all lovely and the cleanliness was to a high standard. Very welcoming and accommodating staff although the poor lass doing breakfast seemed to be a little stressed. We ate in the hotel on the Saturday night which was quite busy but very well... More

Spent the night in room 3 of this hotel. Had booked a double room and it was a good sized room, even with a single bed also within the room . Clean and fresh looking with sturdy nice furniture. En suite bath / shower clean and functional. Had an evening meal in the restaurant and would recommend eating here. Breakfast... More

Stayed here fir one night while as I was working away. Paid £75 for B&B. Not bad for the time of year! Well that's what I thought! I was asked what time I'd like breakfast when I told the owner I was told it was too early which was ok so I requested a lunch box instead. Not too much... More

The room was clean, bedding fresh, bed comfortable. The bathroom was very old, but clean and functional. The dining rooms and foyer of the hotel present very well and given the price I was expecting the decore of the room to be a little fresher. The big disappointment was breakfast service which was rushed and rude. I felt quite unwelcome... More

Admittedly it is only a 2 star hotel but it was still £95per night for a double room. For that we got a very cramped room that you could hardly walk round the edge of the bed, the bedside lamp didn't work as the bulb was smashed, the tv, when stitched off, to standby ,flashed a bright blue light on... Visited the Panmure Arms a few times this week whilst on a fishing trip. The staff have been excellent and the food is top quality. My wife is vegetarian and they were able to offer a few extra choices not on the menu. Thanks
