We saw more wildlife from the porch of our room/cottage that overlooked the park than we did visiting most wildlife parks in India and Nepal. Unfortunately there was a strike happening when we stayed in Kumily but we were staying in comfort at coffee inn. Lovely wooden features and really nice looking rooms and surroundings, at a very good budget.

Stop complaining about hot water - it's 30C out! We stayed six nights here probably too long for Kumily but Coffee Inn was quite adequate. The room was nice and good view of the wildlife park. The staff here was incredibly nice and helpful. The room was pretty good too. They have a wide variety of options from huts, to low tree houses, to bungalows, to proper rooms (which we had). initially the guy at the reception told us that there will be 24-hr hot water but it's not there during night time. then we found out that actually it's powered by solar system and he refuse to turn it to electricity mode... the room is kinda moist... especially during raining season
