Got a 2 night deal off of WagJag for a Father's day gift for my husband. Our stay was fantastic. Yes, the rooms are small. But who goes on a vacation to just sit in a hotel room the whole time? The rooms were very clean and well kept, and the bed was comfortable. The staff are extremely pleasant and... More

Like many, I found out about Hastings through a great Groupon deal for only $49/night. I stayed alone for a couple of nights as a nice retreat to nowhere. And it really is in the middle of nowhere a the closest town seems to be Bancroft and it isn't much. The staff (Stacy and Anton) were very friendly and very... More

We just spent a lovely weekend at this small resort. The rooms were small but well kept. You will need to bring your own fun, there isn't much to do, but if peace and quiet and relaxation are the goal, you have a winner. Our only complaint was the food. We found breakfast reasonable however the dinner menu was sparse... More

My husband and I were there from Sunday-Tuesday from a wagjag deal that we purchased and it was a nice and peaceful trip. I found the room to be clean and quaint. The only amenities offered in the room is soap and shower gel so be sure to bring your own toiletries. There is also a mini fridge (no freezer).... More

This resort exceeded our expectations. We stayed for two nights in a jacuzzi suite in the main lodge. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and a large flat screen TV, and the bedroom had a fridge, a King bed with a large flat screen TV and a seating area. The balcony was... More

We wanted a romantic getaway at a rustic lodge with access to trails, good food and great service. We got all that and more. We were greeted by Anton, who is a very service-oriented and versatile fellow. He ran the desk, rented out equipment, served dinner, and cleaned rooms. We had dinner at the steakhouse two nights and breakfast one... More

Stayed at the Hastings resort and found it to be a nice stay! The room was small but we were not expecting a huge suite! Only need the room for sleeping anyway. I found it to be nice, clean and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and nicely kept. The fire pit is a nice touch and we used it both... More

Upon arrival we were helped taking our bags to the 2nd floor which was greatly appreciated. We loved our room and were glad we upgraded. Loved the HUGE private balcony that spanned half the building wide! We ate dinner on the resort 2 out of the 3 nights and were thoroughly impressed with the food and service. Stacey was very... More

The staff is very friendly and very accomodating. The major problem I had was that the walls are paper thin. We had friends beside us and my friend could hear the lady two doors down showering her daughter. I could hear the group of people at the end of the hall talking and it was not muffled. I could hear... More
