Very beautiful rooms, but worst hotel experience in wonderful Laos! Waiters are the only non friendly people in Laos, incompetent and unpleasant. Plan plenty of cash in Kip, as their CC machine never works and they make a lot of problems with USD. Careful at the restaurant: they don't bring what you ordered and when you ask why they answer... Inthira is a beautiful riverside hotel in the absolutely charming oasis of Champasak. Much more affordable than the only other higher end option in town, Inthira has absolutely lovely rooms (plus fantastic showers), comfy beds with soft sheets, a quiet countryside setting, free DVDs/DVD players, a good restaurant, and mindblowingly fast wifi for Laos. What more could you ask for?... More

A delightful find following our epic drive from Phnom Penh, and a perfect base for visiting Wat Phu. Good food and service at the restaurant. Our room, in the converted shophouse across the road from the hotel's restaurant, featured an open bath. There were bicycles for guest use. The following night, we found ourselves at the Inthira in Thaket. When... More

Lovely place to stay in champasak. The rooms (even he cheapest ones) are divine with lovely stone bathrooms and even a deep bath! Heaven. There are mosquito nets and some of the most comfortable beds I have had during my travels. Restaurant at the hotel is outstanding too and breakfast is included. For the price great value. However if you... More

stayed 2 nights here and it was a wonderful respite from the heat during the hot season. great and attentive staff who can help to arrange anything you might need during your stay in champasak (tours, bike rentals, onward transfers and spa bookings). rooms were very clean, tropical modern. no international tv channels in the room, but you can take... This hotel is well located in town. The rooms are beautiful. We stayed in the basic rooms and they were really well designed - great bathroom and well presented. Rates include a delicious breakfast. The manager was particularly helpful in organising day trips, travel etc . You can rent bikes and easily ride out to Wat phou from here which... More

Nice location, with comfortable and well-decorated rooms lying on the Mekong. A good place to explore the region in a peaceful place. A nice restaurant is just across the street, and the hotel staff can arrange a lot of trip and excursion in the area, so I really suggest to spent here a couple of days during your trip in... More

Enjoyed our stay here very much; it was an oasis of peace - the restaurant serves good food, too. We had a ground floor room over the road from the main hotel; it was modern, the plumbing worked and the beds comfortable. There were gaps round the windows which would probably cause a mosquito problem in season. The hotel organise... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in the modern 2 storey rooms round the back of the hotel. Very comfortable large bed and modern shower/ wc etc upstairs and a sitting area and separate modern stone bath downstairs. Loads of hot water so easy to relax after a day out. We used the hotel bikes to cycle to Wat Phou... More
