Like others we stayed here as part of a Chiang Mai to Laos package. Given the cheap price of the package we weren't expecting too much. It was actually ok. Nothing fancy but adequate. It was clean enough. The massive downside to here though is the paper thin walls. You can hear not only your neighbour but pretty much everyone... More

DO NOT USE THEIR VISA SCAM 'SERVICE' because they charge you more than what is charged at the border!!! It is very easy to get your visa on arrival at the Lao border. The pool was nice but you have to pay a small price for it. Unlike what was stated by another reviewer we had to pay for the... More

We stayed here, like most, as part of an organised trip from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang and therefore did not really research the place beforehand. Many other reviews here already discuss the paper thin walls (noise and also light - very annoying when the people in the room next door had a light on all night) freely flow through.... More

Stayed here as part of a tour. It was a stop between arriving from Laos and traveling on to Chaing Mai.The grounds are quite pretty and green. Location wise, I only went out for some food so cant comment on this. My room was okay, wooden walls and concrete elsewhere. It had a sort of rustic feel to it! The... More

We stayed here one night on our way to Laos and were not expecting much, which was just as well. The staff were uninterested in our group who were allowed to eat between 7 and 7.30 only. This was three trays (albeit plentiful) of rice, a curry and vegetables. We saw how the hotel were with another group paying a... More

We stayed here for one night as part of our border crossing tour from Thailand to Laos. I didn't think it would be anything special after reading some of the reviews here, but wasn't too worried as it was just one night. I have to say it was a lot better than expected - it's been given a bit of... More

Staying here as part of a package deal for slow boat. They charge for pool use and dont allow swimming after 8pm. No drinking in common area. Can only watch movies after 7:30pm. When I asked "why?" staff was very rude and never answered my question.

We stayed at this hotel as part of the Chiang Mai - Luang Prabang slow boat package. The place itself is quite nicely maintained, although with the package we were allocated a tiny dark room with no air con or bathroom, so we paid 300B to upgrade. However, what really ruined the stay for us, and left me very upset,... More

As I said above ,could not find any positive, no probably the fact that they had a pool and charged the customer 50 bht hour to swim was probably the only positive, Oh yes has TV but no reception. and if you decide to do a slow boat trip attach to your room be prepared to pay top dollar for... Stayed here on a slow boat package deal. The food provided wasn't that great and the charge you extra for anything they can (pool usage, towels, etc). We upgraded to a air con room (overpriced), but had TV and a spacious bathroom. This place is decent for a one night stay before heading into Laos.
