We used this hotel as a stop over to Laos. Good room we had the garden room but still saw a part of the river. The dining area was great with lovely views of the river and across to Laos. We had diner here and must say the food was great. Hotel staff organised transport for us in the morning... More

Just one night here, waiting to go to Laos. But Teak Garden Hotel was a romantic spot, with a nice garden and cosy restaurant. The rooms were not big, but quite ok. The rooms were clean and they served a very good breakfast. Our room had a small balcony (i think all rooms had one), but the mosquitoes made us... More

Our rooms were clean and well appointed, we had a river view room with a balcony, which was nice as we could sit out and watch the people going by....but there was a road between us and the rive and quite a few skooters went by, spoiling the peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was very traditional, noodles, sticky rices et..but we... More

Just an overnight stop between Laos and Chiang Mai but a pleasant experience. Reception staff were efficient and courteous - a genuinely nice group. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the Mekong River. Breakfast was good without being spectacular (hmm? spectacular breakfast? you know what I mean). Highly recommended.

As with most people we were on our way to Mekong boat trip. However, in a group, so didn't arrive till fairly late afternoon and rep had booked a table at the outdoor restaurant. When we started ordering our meal at 7 pm it was a bit cool, by the time the last of 15 had got their food (around... More

Spent a night here in Room 114, a king river-view bungalow before our Nagi of Mekong cruise. Wish we'd known how great this was-we would have come a day or two earlier to enjoy relaxing on our lanai! Took a tuk-tuk about 2 km from the bus station (from Chiang Rai) and checked in quickly. No welcome drink. There are... More

Spent the night here before our Nagi of Mekong river cruise the next day. Wish we had known it would be so pleasant and nice-we would have come three days before our cruise and just relaxed on the lanai overlooking the river! Take a tuk-tuk from the bus station (a bit too far to walk with bags) which will take... More

We stayed for one night before getting a boat to Luang Prabang (with Nagi of the Mekong). The location is great, it took 5 minutes in a Tuk Tuk from the bus stop coming from chiang mai and is close to a good selection of restaurants/market/bars. There is a 7/11 around a 10-15 minute walk away. It took 15 minutes... More

We stopped here coming from Laos before heading to North Thailandia. We cannot but recommend this hotel. Clean, quite, beautiful setting and exceptional value for money. Special praise for the staff. Enjoy a stroll along the Mekong and views of Laos' riverside.

The place is located in a beautiful garden overlooking the Mekong River. Many big trees have been planted there recently. The rooms are cottages; our room had a great view. They are all comfortably furnished, beds are good, internet is working, people are friendly and helpful.
