Rooms ok but lots of tiny insects everywhere. I know it's warm but I've been warmer and never had the problem to this extent. Also one of the doorlocks that seem to be universal in Lao locked my wife in. Restaurant ok but service patchy and breakfast choice poor. Staff neutral really, certainly not welcoming. location on the riverbank is excellent and view from front rooms superb. room spacious. no TV or mini bar, but the rooms may not be fully completed. Shower fitting was annoying as it required hand held operation. excellent food from the restaurant which had a wide variety of dishes. no problems with service. other bars/restaurants within a short walk.

The hotel is perfectly situated on the Mekong. The rooms are OK, nice price/quality. In total the hotel lacks atmosphere, the service is 'unlao' unpersonal and businesslike and it'sa simply too big for this place.
