During our safari in Kenya, we stayed 2 nights at this historic lodge. We saw pictures of the Queen of England having stayed there with her entourage back in the fifties. The service and food were good. Nothing gourmet or fancy, of course but we were not there for food rather the safari. This is where I met my Maasai... More

After several days in Amboseli, my family and I went to Lake Naivasha and stayed at Crescent Camp. Upon check-in, we were given a welcome drink and given keys to our cabins. The cabins were very large (huge bathroom) and comfortable. Hot water in the shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. Meals were good (buffet) and the... More

We stayed two nights at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp with our tour group who were camping and we decided to upgrade to one of their permanent tents. While we may have been a bit shell shocked from our usual pup tent sleeping arrangement, it was undoubtedly the most luxurious camping ive ever experienced. Our enormous tent has canvas sides but... This was my second time here. I drove out to Lake Naivasha the week prior with no plan and ended up pulling in here to go on a boat safari. I was amazed at how pretty the camp was and I had a fabulous time on the boat ride with my guide. I saw hippos, zebras, eagles and we even... More

A group of dear old former peace corps volunteer friends wanted to camp in Naivasha over Xmas. We started at fishermans camp, our old favorite, but it was a disaster. The camp was overrun with people and despite the posted camp rules about music and noise after 10pm, it turned in to a massive drunk fest. The next morning the... More

The rooms are amaizing, spacious, and very quiet. The environment is very beautiful with a short walk to the shore of Lake Naivasha where boat rides are offered with a really professional team. This is also a paradise for bird watchers. Service was below par, with a very limited menu. Waiters taking too long to take orders. Replenishment of buffet... More

At the last minute our accommodation was changed to this Camp. The rooms/tents were very spacious, clean with small "hotties" placed in our beds in the early evening - it was cool at night. The surroundings were sparse and desolate and we were one of 4 groups in residence so very quiet. The food on offer was adequate with limited... More

I disliked the place since we set foot on the main entrance. It's poor, very bad managed, food is not good and not options, service is horrible, grounds are horrible...I did not like one bit of it! i liked the boat trip on Lake Naivasha with our "captain", but that was included on the package from our Safari company. I... More
