It is a nice hotel with clean rooms, constant running water and in a very quiet environment, nice food though not to the expeditions.Staffs are half baked as they take no trouble explaining to guests what services is available. We paid 800 shillings for full break but only served tea and some toast while other guests were served fruits, juice, eggs, tea and toast.Visitors should too... We were looking for something reasonable near Nakuru Park, and found the recomondation here on Tripadvisor. When I told my local freind in Nairobi about it she stated her fear that at this price (3900 KSH = 48$ for 2 single rooms and one double for one night, no breakfast) it might not be good enough for us. The hotel... More

Blue Bay is one clean and quiet place out of the hustle and bustle of Nakuru town. It’s in a secure location right next to the road, if one was to use public means it’s still very convenient. The rooms are huge and spacious, with floor rugs/carpets at almost every edge of the bed which helps instead of stepping on... More

5 of us stayed for just one night while travelling through Nakuru. My son had stayed here a few months back and recommended it as a good budget venue. A double room was 1500 Kenyan Shillings (about £10.50) which, for what you get, is fantastic. The hotel is very clean (possibly because it is still fairly new). The bed was... More

Value for money in blue bay hotel. Reasonably friendly people clean spacious room with bathroom. And ...warm water. & Safety certified by Protect secures between reception and rooms. No air-conditioning but for 15 euros per night for 2 people is not everything possible. Breakfast at 4 euros per person is very disappointing and is not realistic for what you get.... More
