I did not stay here but was there everyday as a master trainer for a 5 day training programme conducted by a Kenyan NGO. However, I did see the rooms to check the comfort levels of the trainees. The rooms are small but quite well appointed and comfortable. No one had anything to complain about. The buffet lunch served in... More

Only stayed the one night during a safari holiday. The room was quite small, but clean and had all the essential items -clean and comfortable bed :) small TV, bathroom etc. Free WiFi. We were staying as full board and, whilst lunch was excellent (buffet style) dinner and breakfast were a little disappointing with not much choice. No bar, but... More

The hotel was fairly priced, has clean, spacious, well ventilated, and comfortable rooms. The hotel is a reasonable place to stay when in Nakuru for business, and it is not far from town. The hotel has wifi, but this did not seem to work when i was there. The same to their cable which had only two functional channels. The breakfast... More

Stayed end of October 1 night in Chester Hotel in Nakuru. Booking made by touroperator as overnight between our visit to Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara Park. Although we realised it would not be a top class hotel we would not recommend it to others. You cannot get a simple beer as hotel Management claims it is a Christian... More

My review is based on 1 night stay. The hotel is not very clean. Rooms are a small, bathrooms are messy. Food is the worst. I barely enjoyed 2 items out of 3 meals. Nothing to do around the hotel, not even a walk. The positive thing was that the staff are trying hard to make you enjoy your stay... More

We stayed at Chester's hotel for one night on a tour with safe ride tours. The rooms were very small with too much furniture making moving round difficult. The bed was OK. The food was pretty good, we were told dinner was at 7:00pm but it wasnt ready till 7:45 pm, and they didn't sell beer?!? We thought the breakfast... More

Stayed in this hotel returning from a safari. What is offered was good basic rooms with a shower, however it felt like luxury after a few nights in the wilderness. The staff were excellent, probably the most friendly I have ever experienced at a hotel anywhere. The residents restaurant was good and the food was nice. I was staying there... More

Stayed one night here whilst touringi . We had rooms in the annexe over the road. The room was basic but clean. One problem was the strange plumbing - we had little hot water and our friends in another room had no water at all in the morning. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Meals were fine

I stayed here for one night as part of a safari tour, visiting Lake nakuru for a day. The hotel appears to have two buildings, i was in the slightly newer larger one opposite the sports ground. I found all the staff friendly and helpful, the restaurant had a good buffet selection, the room was clean, large enough, with a... More

We stayed here for a night after visiting the lake Nakuru wildlife reserve. I found it good after staying in very basic campsite in Amboseli. Our travel agents Africa Home Adventure had booked us here. The hotel is a budget hotel with basic amenities. The double rooms we were given on the fourth floor was clean, had attached clean bathroom... More
