Just come back from a 2 night stay at Les the owners b&b, What an ideal place for walking or cycling Hadrians Wall. Les the owner is a great host with lots of info on the area etc and does a very tasty breakfast indeed. Took my border terrier with me who adopted Les straight away and felt right at... More

Great place to explore the area, clean and comfortable with a great breakfast cooked by Les the host who can suggest the best walks and sites for miles around. It's a stunning area with spectacular views.

Wish my sister and I had stayed here longer. Felt at home right away. Les is a great host. I am still dreaming about the lamb shank dinner he prepared for us. There is a flavor of modern and old in the building. The fields around are full of sheep. To the north, Hadrian's Wall was within easy driving distance.... More

Stayed here three nights in February. I found the Repeater Station by chance when planning our trip and what a find it was! Les, the proprietor, is a convivial person, and a marvelous cook, to be sure. The accommodations were comfortable and convenient; the views from front and back were postcard-worthy. Located centrally along Hadrian's Wall, we had easy access... More

Stayed here for two nights, Friday and Saturday, while revisiting the area. A great find. Les is a brilliant host and can't do enough for his guests. Our evening meals were well cooked and generous in the portion size. Just what was needed after a day walking. The Old Repeater Station is dog friendly too which is a plus point... More

We walk the Hadrian way and there is no better place to stay on that region. Our dinner was delicious. Les is a great host and will make everything to make your stay memorable. If you are walking do not trust the shortcut to get there thru the ditch....it is impossible.

We stayed there on the Hadrians Wall walk. Its in a remote area & looked bleak as we walked up towards it. We had met some Americans earlier in the day & they had commented that it was dirty & that Les wasnt a good host & had told them that the best seat for watching TV was HIS seat.... More

For those coming from Chollerford this is the last possible stop before the crags, one of the most interesting sections of the Hadrian's Wall path. Comfort and warmness followed by a polite congeniality may be some of the characteristics impressed by the owner to the Old Repeater Station. In many ways, they make the house be larger than it looks... More

Very well placed stopping point for the Hadrians Wall walk. Les is a great host, very welcoming and a very dry sense of humour. We had a superb lamb shank for our evening meal washed down with some very nice beer. Afterwards we all sat down and sang along to the Last Night of the Proms - a memorable stay.
