I stayed at Barcelo Mismaloya last week! It was great. No sickness at all and I ate and drank whatever I wanted. The rooms were amazing! Staff was extremely friendly! and the food was pretty good! We worried about getting sick and yes my husband got ill for two days but not very bad. He had taken Dukoral before we left so believe that helped. We had a great holiday. Stayed feb12-18 , read reviews prior arrival and were very scared by reported food illness(traveling with kid added more stress) but nothing happened , we ate at all 4 restaurants - food was good, nice weather, friendly and helpful staff. The only restriction – did not drink water from the sink (only bottled) but that is rule for any traveling. more
