Stayed at the Highlander last Friday & Saturday night. Room excellent, breakfast very good. On the first evening I had the Haggis starter, fully recommended by me . Second night I asked for the haggis starter to be developed into a Haggis full blown meal. Nothing was to much trouble, my stay was really good. Loved it

Such a lovely place - wonderful service - people went out of their way to help with luggage and directions. A huge array of whiskies and a lovely dinner (I had a double serve of haggis). The room was fairly large and clean with wonderful heating and a beautiful view. And the breakfast service was friendly (including the dog!) -... More

We stay at the Highlander 2 or 3 times a year - in July, usually. This time we were there - in October - with other family members who were as pleased with the experience as we always are. The staff are welcoming & friendly. The menu which now changes daily offers something for everyone. The rooms are clean and... More

We stayed here in a group of 9 while walking the Speyside Way. We stayed for a night then moved on to Dufftown and returned again for a nights accommodation. The rooms are of a good standard and comfortable with en-suite facilities. Some of our group stayed in an attached cottage and they said it was delightful. On our first... More

This is a fabulous place to go for dinner and the Scotch Whiskey selection is an added plus :). I had the trout (fresh caught) and the Chef made a few adjustments to the preparation as I cannot do dairy - . My wife had the salmon and mentioned it was one of the best filets she had ever tasted... More

It´s the second time we stayed in here and we were completely disappointed which is a shame as last time was ok thats why we went back. It has gone right down hill, Wifi was Free but you couldn't get it. Half the whiskys on the menu we ordered were no longer available. its well overpriced and defiantly not a... More

We've visited the Highlander Inn for the past two years for the Dufftown Autumn whisky festival. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service excellent. The bar and restaurant downstairs has excellent food, great beer on tap, and a huge selection of whiskies.

We stayed here while doing a walking tour of the Speyside region - perfect location for this! Rooms very spacious, beds comfortable - could not fault the accommodation. Meals hearty and well priced, and could not fault the whisky selection! Really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the friendly service and the amazing whisky selection. The food was hearty and generally v. well cooked and displayed. The staff we're great - very friendly - and we'd certainly recommend for a 'local' night in.

If you like to sleep in a room filled with dust (webs hanginging on the sealing) not posible to open a window, the lounge was filled with a strange smell,.... than this is your place. By my opinion, this Inn is build around a few botlles of whisky, the food was also overpriced. Before booking this accomidation, reconsider !
