Stayed for a couple of nights at New Year had a great time. Found owner and staff friendly and helpful. Great choice of whisky in bar. Good Scottish breakfast to set you up for the day. All set in beautiful scenery, with some fantastic walks close by.

A great small hotel in Speyside. Very nice and friendly staff. Great range of food on offer. The bar, what a range of whiskies ! And not bank breaking prices. My room was a good size. Plenty room, clean well decorated and warm, it was very cold outside. A member of staff booked me a taxi and gave me the... More

We have been coming to the Highlander Inn at least once a year for about 10 years and will continue to do so in the future. Why? Comfortable accommodation in the heart of Speyside, friendly and competent service, great food and a superb range of whiskies, including 'hard to find' and Japanese malts. Great to see Tatsuya (the now owner)... More

I had a nice Weekend for visiting Scotland first time. Near by Speyside Way and in the center of the whiskey trail, it was easy to reach the main Destilleries and to have nice walks along the river or on the hills. The staff was very friendly, the room clean and cosy, and the breakfast good tasting. Despite of the... More

Stayed here as part of a group of 5 couples on a round Scotland motorbike trip. 1 couple were in the actual hotel, myself and the other couples were in houses outside the hotel but under 30 seconds walk away. Plenty of parking outside the hotel in the street and in the large car park behind the hotel off the... More

Within twenty metres of the Speyside Way, great place for walkers and whiskey trail. Good sized basic bedroom with ensuite including bath. Good wifi. Excellant traditional whiskey bar with very knowledgeable helpful and enthusiastic staff.mlocal food served in bar also good and quickly served. Nice snug atmosphere.

Great place to stop in for a meal and a dram. Fun atmosphere, friendly staff and good food! They also have a whisky menu that's 6 pages long! Don't like whisky, don't despair, they have several draughts beers too! I recommend you get the Mac and cheese, the dish and chips and the steak pie!!

Very professionally run. The service was friendly and the place is well located for the distilleries. They have an excellent range of whiskies. The wifi was a complete disappointment. There must have been one spot in the restaurant where it would work (sometimes). I found the heating inadequate.

We stayed one night in one of their houses across the street from the main hotel building. I don't know if they ever have more than one family staying in that house, but we were lucky to be the only ones staying there, despite the fact there are several bedrooms (otherwise we'd have needed to share the bathroom). We stayed... More

We stayed here for a night while walking the Speyside Way. The hotel is right by the Way. It's a typical hotel for this type of area. Everything looks a little dated but you have everything you need. Staff were all very helpful, rooms clean - ours was 'compact'. TV quality and choice of channels very good. Wifi throughout. Great... More
