We had Christmas Dinner there and cannot praise the Hotel enough. Food was amazing, serving staff spot on, very friendly, made the experience even more enjoyable. From the Manager to the lovely girl on Reception who booked our taxi, they made our Christmas Day very special!

We stayed here for one night after a three day tour of the Highlands. My review should start with the preparation for our stay. I emailed the hotel a few days before we arrived to make sure we could get a table in the Copper Dog for dinner, as the hotel advertised that there was live music on Saturday and... More

A historic hotel that has had a stack of cash recently spent on it to bring it up to high modern standards with an effective blend of old and new to the interior design. Very friendly young team of staff who are also very well trained, attractive rooms and really comfortable beds (although bath filling mechanism is a bit strange... More

Stayed last year and the difference is chalk and cheese! Staff were so pleasant and helpful especially the night porter who found me a razor as I had forgotten mine. Dinner and breakfast chefs should be complimented on the diversity and range of cooking skills they demonstrated and the beautiful food that was served. The bars and small lounges were... More

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel over Christmas and Boxing Day a while back. I couldn't remember how to spell the name, so I failed to write a review back then. I finally figured it out and found it here on Trip Advisor. I fondly remember how lovely the meals and room were and would really love... More

Have stayed here twice now (eaten there once) and will definitely be going again. The rooms are very lucurious and comfortable, the food is excellent, the staff superb and the price is very reasonable. If you like whiskey then I visit to the bar is definitely worth it.

Stayed one night at Craigellachie Hotel with a group of 15. Enjoyed a drink in the stylish hotel bar before embarking on a fabulous six-course dinner in a separate dining room (chocolate tart with Macallan Ruby was smashing). Rooms were great (real coffee from Scotland in the rooms, no instant products). In the morning we had a breakfast which was... More

We were delighted with our choice of hotel. Recently reburbished (still doing lots more) and extremely comfortable. The welcome was good, room absolutely lovely with good modern bathroom with proper showerhead over! Lots of extras and very comfortable chairs/sofa and great choice of carpets/curtains etc. which made it feel warm, country and lovely. Fire burning in the Library and good... More

Having last been in the Craigellachie Hotel around 1952 as a school child. We took a chance of booking for a night, being back in the Spey side area. Fortunately, after quite a chequered history over the previous 60+ years. The Hotel has been recently purchased and renovated. We can only congratulate the new owners on what they have achieved!... We had two rooms booked at this hotel following a recommendation from the MaCallan distillery. Sadly due to a serious family medical emergency we had to cancel our reservations to spend time at the ICU unit at Edinburgh hospital. The hotel accepted the cancelation but refused to waive their cancelation policy and chose to charge us in full for both... More
