This is a magnificent hotel in the heart of the Speyside whisky land. Very polite and professional staff, excellent location and very good maintenance of all indoor and outdoor areas. You will enjoy the hearty breakfast on offer, as well as the tasty food at the hotel restaurant. And if you're a whisky fan, you're in for a real treat:... More

Very comfortable and spacious room, tho a bit dark in the bedroom, the bathroom was very well lit and spacious as well. Spotlessly clean room and very comfy bed. Evening meal and breakfast were tasty. All staff so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would love to return.

Very tastefully refurbished hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, with lovely toiletries and soft cashmere throws. The guests' lounge was a lovely place to rest with plenty of mindless coffee table books to lose yourself in. No fine dining, just good pub food in the Copper Dog. I would definitely return and recommend it to family and... More

I tried to book our wedding here but got tired of waiting and chasing to see if they had availabilty. Not what you want with a wedding venue. I tried to then book a buffet the night before the wedding and after a month I happened to be in there to have dinner in the Copper Dog. They acknowledged my... More

While traveling through Scotland we stopped at this hotel for 1 night. We have several places and this is bar far my least favorite. It was recently redone to the place is clean and well maintained. The cost of the room was 180 pounds which was overpriced for the room. They told us our twin room was on the garden... More

Central location for visiting Distilleries and cooperage; preferred to Dufftown. Very good restaurant with an alternative nearby. Enjoyed breakfast variety. Staff very helpful. Visit to Glenfiddich and downtown Dufftown within 6 - 7.5 km along good walking path. Newly refurbished whisky tasting room has wide variety, Willing to provide multiple drams of whiskey at once (at full price) for inter... More

I stayed here recently on a business trip and was really really impressed. The decor, the service, the food, all were first class and a really pleasant experience all round. Even the 'house dog' was very cute!! I was in a room downstairs at the back which didn't sound too promising but actually was really well appointed and was very... More

Have eaten here a few times since the refurb as we stay quite near & have had no complaints regarding food or service like some of the other reviews on here, myself & group of friends (12approx) decided to spend Saturday evening here for drinks & a catch up on my recommendation. Baring in mind we were all drinking the round... More

The staff are the absolute lifeblood of this hotel. The new whiskey bar is staffed by the knowledgable, personable, beautiful, and kind Lindsey who made our whole trip worthwhile. The hotel has been recently refurbished, the rooms and general decor are very good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and the selection of whiskey second to none. Normally... More

Oh this was SUCH a disappointment. The interior designer is at work and the whole place is getting 'done up' so we have actually forgiven them a lot BUT the barman doesn't seem to speak English and that is a huge difficulty. We ordered 3 half pints ONE of which was half the strength of the other two. They got... More
