Booked dinner for 6 in January. Menu was limited due to having run out of items. Service was poor,.One meal turned up cold then burnt on its return. Three drunken women wandered from the bar and insisted on going around the tables enquiring loudly how people's meals were, the staff should have asked them to leave but did nothing. Not... More

So happy to have been able to come back after staying here in October 2014. Stayed again, work related stay, on a Thursday January evening, one of the really stormy nights. Roasty toasty in the room, freezing storms which brought down many trees outside. Room and bed very comfy again but still dark in the bedroom despite a choice of... More

Stopped in today for a quick lunch in the Copper Dog at the Craigellachie Hotel and was well impressed! Soup (parsnip and chestnut for me, cullen skink for him) and sandwiches (hot smoked salmon and steak) were beautifully prepared and delicious. What an improvement from our experience here eighteen months ago and the prices were v. reasonable. New owner has... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights here over New Year. The hotel itself has a lovely cosy atmosphere, coal fires, lounges with comfy sofas and a Quaich Bar with around 350 Malt Whiskies to choose from. There is also the Copper Dog Bar, which is very friendly, comfortable, serves delicious food, and has an excellent singer, guitar player most... More

Needed a quick lunch on our way from home to Glenlivet and stopped here for lunch. The hotel has had a bit of money spent on it and we went into the very rustic Copper Dog Bar. We received a very friendly greeting and as we hadn't booked the staff quickly discussed what they had on offer and showed us... More

Group of 8 of us stayed here for new year. From the minute we arrived until we left it was brilliant. The staff were excellent, the food was out of this world!! . The hotel itself has just been refurbished and it is done to a high 5* standard. Beautiful relaxing place could not rate this hotel any more highly.

What a disappointment. My family booked a 'Luxury Suite' for my birthday. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, so I would have expected things like a mini bar, a fridge, a box of tissues, toiletries and refreshments replenished, somewhere to sit, a reading light, mebbe a good selection of different lighting options, none of which were to... We had Christmas Dinner there and cannot praise the Hotel enough. Food was amazing, serving staff spot on, very friendly, made the experience even more enjoyable. From the Manager to the lovely girl on Reception who booked our taxi, they made our Christmas Day very special!
