I was fortunate to have to come to Morayshire on business and due to a number of events in the local area, hotel rooms were hard to find. However I got a good deal through this website and stayed here for one night and was glad that I did. The first thing to say is that if you are looking... More

First trip to Speyside and enjoyed the hotel facilities and food. Stayed in one of the larger rooms and was very happy with the furnishings/size of the room. The food at the Copper Dog was excellent and the staff did an excellent job with the service. We stayed here during the first week in August 2014 and refurbishing for the... More

Good things: The redecoration is great. The dinner was excellent - beautifully cooked and attentively served. Less good things Staff are not at all slick and are a little amateurish for such an expensive hotel. Band in the bar was far too loud until 1am - complaints poorly handled at the time, though the bill was slightly reduced on checkout.... More

First trip back since the refurb & i have to say this is amazing, tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard but still retaining its original character. The Copper Dog located on the ground floor has a fantastic menu, the food is great and the staff couldn`t be more helpful, there was live music on Friday & Saturday... More

We couldnt have been happier with our choice of hotel during a recent trip to Scotland. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and curteous. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very good with choices of cold or cooked. We ate in the hotel restaurant and we thought there was a good selection of meals to choose from,... More

Just finished a three night stay here. The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. Our main complaint is that ours was very small. We booked a deluxe room and did expect something larger. In the end the room size didn't matter so much as we had so much fun at the bar and restaurant. The staff at this property... More

Room was spacious and clean but old fashioned, Plenty of tea and ground coffee but nothing to make the coffee even after four requests. No trouser press although there was an iron in the wardrobe. Restaurant and bar staff very friendly but it was not worth the price paid.

We were recommended the Craigellachie Hotel after being disappointed to find that our room had been given away at a local B&B. We opted for a double room, which had a large bathroom (excellent bath and toiletries), a comfortable (not huge) double and a good supply of tea and coffee (we particularly appreciated the 'proper' filter coffee and squares of... We stayed here for two nights and wished it could've been longer, everything in our room was lovely, gorgeous bathroom also, with lovely quality towels, bathrobe and toiletries. The only thing that niggled a little bit was lack of welcome pack in room, no fire safety instructions!! The food was lovely, although not a lot of choice. The hotel is... More
