Really lovely staff and superb food, with a quite interesting Menu. My first visit and I will certainly be back. ( Lovely clean toilets, which is always a good sign !) Thank you .

My husband & I enjoyed a lovely lunch today in front of the roaring fire. Really cosy and very friendly pub. Fish & Chips were lovely as was my husband's steak - cooked to perfection. The chocolate fondant & sticky toffee pudding were also amazing and topped off a lovely lunch. Will definitely be going back

Stayed over the Christmas break for 4 nights. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was modern decorated and clean. Only the bed and pillows need updating. They are very worn out which made for very uncomfortable nights' sleep. The daily room cleaning could have been better. The food in the restaurant is excellent as is the service.... More

Ate in the restaurant on a chilly December Tuesday. A lovely cosy pub with roaring wood burner and very friendly staff. We stayed at the Sea Trout for one night in November. The room was excellent with a lovely shower and views out over the village. We ate in the restaurant and had a fantastic meal, and the breakfast was also excellent the next morning. We would definitely visit the Sea Trout again.

Very nice pub in a quiet village location. Room was very clean and bath was huge (not all rooms have baths though) Dinner was good but breakfast was great. Best fry up in ages! Staff very friendly.....no complaints at all. Will be back for sure.
