If, upon arrival as happened to us, the receptionist tells you the manager would like to speak to you DON’T PANIC (unless you have a reputation that precedes you). He’ll probably start babbling on about “over occupancy” and “Eden Roc” and you instantly want to leave but trust us, you end up with a better holiday. The Eden Roc (without... more

3rd time at hotel. got a nice room with sea view. When we stayed for the 2nd time the hotel made us feel special, we received an upgrade at breakfast, and invite to a BBQ night etc, this time nothing - everyone received a bottle of ouzo in their rooms - we got nothing not an acknowledgement which was disappointing.... more

Booked to stay at this hotel in October 2008 with Thomas Cook for holiday in June 2009. 3 days before departure told that hotel overbooked and either cancel holiday or accept alternative hotel 50 miles away. E-mailed Aldemar 5 times starting on 4th june asking for reasons as to why this had happened. Eventually got a reply 3 weeks later... more

Just returned from an amazing week...could have done with a few more days! This resort has a lovely international feel and seems to offer something for everyone. I travelled with my husband and two children (aged 6 and 3) and we had a family room. It had a small partition in the middle of the room, a big double bed... more

Just returned from the Aldemar. Lovely hotel not the 5 star that is advertised but still a really nice hotel. The entrance is very grand, rooms nice and clean with lots of wardrobe space. We were just next to the main building although we did ask to be placed within the main building but we were happy enough. Most of... more

This Hotel is advertised as 5 Star by First Choice, which may have been the case when it was opened a long time ago, however it is need of some serious maintenance to bring it back to that standard and the staff need some serious lessons on customer service. The Gym equipment is old and tired, the pools and the... more

This hotel was carefully researched by me as we were getting married in kalithea Spa (which is absolultely beautiful) and we had 46 freinds travelling with us and felt quite responsible for getting it right. The hotel is very large . we arrived on the 20th May and some of it was shut for the first four days (which still... more
