After the drive from the airport to Maroc Lodge passing through Amimiz, I was a little worried of where we would end up. Especially after the road leading up to Maroc Lodge. But once through the gate and surrounded by the stunning gardens you'll forget all this. The grounds are gorgeous - very well kept and an awesome infinity pool... More

I rarely write reviews but just got back from a stay at Maroc Lodge, booked by my other half for my 30th birthday surprise trip, and wanted to share our experience. The hosts were attentive, friendly, and keen to help. The food was amazing and made to order at any time you like, especially breakfast with homemade jams, delicious coffee... More

We had a wonderful stay in this magical place. Everyone was warm and friendly, and couldn't do enough for us. The food was the best we've had anywhere - and we've travelled extensively all over the world. Each meal was a surprise, and never disappointed. We went on a beautiful walk with the children on my 40th birthday - the... More

We arrived in Morocco exhausted. We were so glad that our first stop was the Maroc Lodge at Amizmiz. Its simple, charming, peaceful and just what we needed! It's a great base for getting off the tourist trail and exploring the Atlas Mountains. We loved the self contained suites at the hotel - it's a bit like staying in a... More

This lodge is an oasis rest. The rooms/condos are spacious, nicely furnished and perfectly maintained. Service is truelly exceptional: staff is friendly and the offer great. The hosts are very welcoming and always looking to help you to get the best out of your stay. The location is perfect to make interesting trips while returning to a relaxing and beautiful... More

A terrific place to go post- Marrakech airport after a series of long flights. Looking back on a two week trip with gorgeous riads and hotels elsewhere in the Atlas Mtns, Fes, Marrakech, etc. Maroc Lodge stands apart. Not because it's fancy. It's not. It's the songbirds and esp cuckoo, sun, call to prayer, exquisitely fresh air, fine simple food,... More

Had a great 2 night stay here including a days trekking in the mountains with mules arranged by the owner including lovely lunch in villagers house - a must do while you are there. Each room is a separate bungalow with own living room. Excellent food and lovely setting/views. Easy to get to from Marrakesh. Authentic local market if you... More

We stayed at the Maroc Lodge after a few days in the bustle of Marrakech. Amizmiz is an ordinary little town about an hour from Marrakech in the foothills of the Atlas mountains but gives a flavour of ordinary life in Morocco. The lodge is on the edge of the town in an elevated position with wonderful views over the... More

We stayed at the Maroc Lodge for 3 nights in November 2013 as the third stop of a 10 night driving tour of Morocco, chosen for its mountain location (complementing the other coastal and desert locations) as well as its proximity to Marrakech airport. Knowing that we were driving from Taroudant, Davide, the owner, emailed to confirm that the occasionally... More

We could unfortunately only stay three nights but this place is so special I felt as though it provided as much of a sense of relaxation and adventure as many two week breaks. This isn't just somewhere to rest your head at the end of the day but the team facilitate a unique experience. Our private lodge was very large... More
