Many of us know the difference between a good stay and a memorable stay is often because of the little things, an attention to detail that surprises and delights you when you're not expecting it. Couple this attention to detail with an honest warmth & fun personality from your Calzetti family hosts, and you have the essence of why a... more

Simply a fantastic place in a great location, with beautiful views and walks just on the doorstep made sure we had a lovely break away. Nothing was too much trouble for Lesley even arranging onsite Beauty Treatments for me, the rooms are a great size and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was lovely and always served with a smile. Thankyou for... more

My room was beautifully furnished and very spacious with lovely views, the hospitality from Lesley and her family were fantastic. There were lots of little extras that made all the difference - Filter Coffee in the room, A little chocolate bar each day and a very extensive range of toiletries. There was even a complementary wee nip of whisky or... more

Best B&B we have stayed in. Service more like a Country House. Nothing was too much. Great information about local sites and contacts at places to eat. Rooms were nice and quiet and breakfast was great. Very good value. If you are going to do the whisky tour this is the place to be. more

We stayed two nights at Speyburn House and would have liked to have stayed longer. Warm and friendly welcome, great rooms and super breakfast. We really felt at home and we were extremely comfortable. Very helpful with information about the area, not only for dinner suggestions, but attractions to see. more

Our hunting in Scotland - which was fantastic - was simply blessed with the best possible B&B. Very clean, nice big rooms and a great hostess who never ran out of rapid responses to the "wonderful" humor from the Danish wikings. Lesley, despite all your insults;-), we all enjoyed our stay very much. Hopefully we will be back in Your... more

I travel extensively over Scotland on business, particularly the North East. I found Speyburn House quite by chance on the internet whilst looking for somewhere to stay. If you are away from home regularly you become tired of run of the mill accommodation. So I was delighted to find that Lesley and her friendly family provide anything but a run... more

We have been back twice now, travelled all the way from the Cotswolds and we have never been disappointed, hopefully we will go back for a third time in 2010. A real home from home, and the best breakfast in Scotland. Lesley was so helpful with her knowledge of the area. Where to visit, where to eat and pointing us... more

A place where everyone should stay at least two nights who travels in Scotland and especially in the Speyside region. Lesley and Andrew are excellent ambassadors of their region. The way of cooking is like at mother's home on a feast day. more
