I recently stayed for the second time at Speyburn. It is such a beautiful house, and you are so well looked after by Lesley, I cannot recommend it highly enough if you are visiting Speyside. Lesley is well attuned to the needs of fishers, and goes out of her way to make you welcome.

What a great welcome we received from Lesley when arriving for our annual weekly fishing trip in August on the Spey, Lesley has a no shoes policy in the house which is understandable so don't forget your slippers. The rooms are large and comfortable and everything is provided you could wish for including a 42in TV. With all the goodies... More

I have stayed at Speyburn House for several years, while fishing with friends and would thoroughly recommend it. The breakfasts are superb and the rooms are very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble. In terms of B&B accommadation you could not ask for more.

I have stayed several times at speyburn House when fishing with friends on the nearby R.Spey & can thoroughly recommend this as one of the best B&Bs you will come across . Lesley has worked hard to ensure all the rooms are well appointed, with the comfort of the guests very much in mind . Nothing seems too much trouble... More

It's often said that after a weeks fishing for Salmon you need another week to rest and recover when you get back home. After fishing for spring Salmon in Scotland for the last ten years I would say it's more then true but this year I came home just as full of energi as when I left. How can that... More

Luxury but warm accomodation, superb breackfast that set you up for the hard work that is salmon fishing..and when you come back from the Spey after, most of the time,a cold, wet and fruitless day,you get always a warm welcome from Lesley, that is really a perfect host. Better than to be at home(but don't tell to my wife,please...)!

Lesley has done the impossible and improved on perfection, despite having a poorly ankle she was the best host you could imagine. The rooms are luxurious and extremely comfortable, and the Breakfast sets you up for the day in style. This is my second visit and I certainly hope it wont be my last.

We had a fantastic stay at Speyburn with a wonderful welcome, room, breakfast and a few surprise little extras that made the stay memorable. The host was kind, helpful and fun but not overwhelming. A gem of a place.
