All the family enjoyed their stay at the cottages. It was so relaxing. We sat out side .watching the children enjoying their self running round and playing it was like a mini holiday. The food was lovley and plenty of it.we didn't want to leave.it was so nice to be near our son on his wedding day.we took some lovley... More

We stayed at both the Railway Cottage and the Old Chicken Shed for a weekend as a base for our wedding. The two cottages were prefect for this occasion as my family stayed in one cottage and us in the other. Another bonus was the amount of car parking space available, at one point we had 7 cars parked! Cathy... More

We stayed for 18 days at Railway Cottage while my husband was based about 20 minutes away for work. We really appreciated the privacy and convenience, the fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities, the cupboards and fridge pre-stocked with locally grown or made breakfast items, huge comfortable bed, the free internet and parking, and easy access to major highways despite... Stayed for 2 nights in railway cottage.Brilliant idea of B&B in our own cottage done really well.More than enough of all food and drinks that we needed (a fridge full of sausages ,bacon, eggs ,milk and fruit juice and tinned beans and toms in the cupboard)and supplies topped up when we were out.Facilities were excellent and in the summer it would... We stayed in both The Chicken Shed and Railway Cottage several times between September 13 and January 14 while working in the area. Both are very comfortable and clean and Cathy, the owner is extremely welcoming and helpful. Railway Cottage is slightly more luxurious and all on one level which is nice but both cottages are well equipped. The only... More

My husband and I stayed in Railway Cottage for 12 days in July 2013. It is in a perfect setting with rabbits and squirrels playing on the lawn in the mornings. The food supplied for breakfast was excellent local produce and miraculously appeared in the fridge while we were out. Cathy was very welcoming and was there if we needed... More

This is our 3rd stay and as always, Cathy and family provide a fantastic B&B! Top class facilities, quality and finishing touches. Just perfect for our short (and long) stays. Nice and quiet, ideal for a shopping trip to Bluewater, or as a base for Kent, we also use it as a stopover for the Eurotunnel. Not much more I... More

My sister and friend stayed here from 18-23 May this year as she has done so several times before. We live quite close but they choose to stay here rather than sleep on the sofa! We have the greatest evenings here as it is just like a home from home. All facilities are provided, full kitchen for entertaining and a... More

Warm and caring host who provides for your breakfast needs in your cottage but self service and also provides a housekeeping service. Produce is locally sourced and not being tied to a prepared breakfast suited us very nicely. Newly renovated to a good standard with a lounge/diner, hall, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Very well equipped. We stayed for 21 nights... More
