I was at a funeral and the venue for the tea etc after it was the Coach house Inn.On the main road and ample car parking .The staff were very friendly and the food and service was excellent. Cant tell you anything about prices but would not hesitate going back for a meal or drink as the interior looked very... More

What can I say about this place..excellent meals, great prices and staff that go that extra mile to make your stay complete. A special thank you goes to Allie for introducing me to stuffed mushrooms in batter with a vegetarian haggis filling OMG how tasty and divine, I always have that as a starter when we go there. The place... More

We stayed here for two nights last weekend. We eat both nights in the restraunt and the food was fantastic, so nice to have some home cooked food and not some of the chain pub know exactly what you are going to get food! The breakfast was also fantastic and filled us up for the day. The room was good... More

While lost in Scotland, where do you stop for directions? A local bar and restaurant of course! These ladies were incredible!!! They researched accommodations on the Internet as well as called in some favors and found us the perfect place to stay since they too were booked up! They spent an hour with us in between customers and even had... More

I found The Coach House an excellent and friendly place. The breakfast was great, and they treated our dog brilliantly. The current managers are leaving in the new year, let's hope the new ones keep up the high standards.

A true village pub, with a warm welcome, a selection of good beers and always good food. Big hearty portions of well presented likeable food served by happy people and none of it expensive. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a good pub.

I cant say I was very impressed by the coach house when we were there for a funeral. Staff were overrun and quite surly, maybe a few more people turned up than expected which can happen but could have been treated more professionally. A few people did not even get a cup of tea or coffee when asked for one... More

We stayed here enroute to the West Coast of Scotland and found them very welcoming. The room was adequate and a good selection of food with generous helpings. There was some noise from the adjacent main road but not excessive. A short walk down the adjacent road brings you to a footbridge over the railway and nice views of the... More

What a find! Stayed here during our trip to the Commonwealth Games for 3 nights as we couldn't find accommodation in Glasgow itself. Having found this place, we were glad we couldn't find accommodation in Glasgow as it wouldn't have had the personal touch like this place. Lovely little B&B and very friendly with good customer service. Great food and... More
