We found this B&B on tripadvisor and it was everything and more that one could hope for. Lynda has operated her B&B for 20+ years , she loves it and it shows as soon as you arrive. The house and the garden are delightful. The rooms are clean , spacious with numerous added comforts. Breakfast is in a lovely dining... More

A lovely two night stay at the House while we visited Doune Castle, antiques and red kite location. Terrific hosts, splendid breakfasts, and outstanding room. Lovely gardens along the river, and a quite peaceful location, even with nearby bridge and traffic that we seldom heard. Short walk to the Castle. Would definitely return here anytime! Delightful! Short walk into town... More

An absolutely lovely home with 2 rooms to rent. Large, tastefully decorated room with a huge bathroom (with rainshower), an actual closet and fresh roses. The nicest hosts and fabulous location, only 2 minute walk to Doune Castle and a couple of minutes walk into town where we had dinner. The icing on the cake was the lovely garden that... More

Such a lovely place to stay in an idyllic location; a stream babbling at the bottom of the beautiful garden and just 5 minutes walk from both the castle and the village. Lynda was the perfect hostess.....the room was beautiful and spotlessly clean with a breakfast to die for! We even came away with a plant for our garden. Thank... More

A beautiful house and garden in a calm and peaceful setting at the entrance to Doune castle. A very warm welcome from hosts Lynda and Keith reflected in the quality and attention to detail in their lovely home and garden. A delicious breakfast cooked by Keith set us up for the day. Simply the best b&b of our trip.

I wish I could rate this place with 6 stars. It was really awesome! After staying at 16 different places on our month-long trip around the UK, this was our absolute favorite. I picked this B&B because it is an easy walk to Doune Castle, which I really wanted to see because “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” was filmed... More

We stayed at Glenardoch House for 2 nights, & I cannot fault anything. The position of the house - next to Doune Castle. The wonderful garden. The clean & spacious beautifully decorated bedrooms, with the best bathroom showers ever. Exceptional breakfasts. Great sitting room downstairs with interesting books/guides etc. Only problem was trying to find & get evening meal in... More

At the front entrance of the Doune Castle we stayed in this lovely old stone house, being the last guests of the season. Spacious and stylish 25 m2 room; beautiful period decoration, with 4,5 m2 very modern bathroom having the largest (rain) shower of our tour. Very nice fresh roses on tea table and bedside tables; very nice touch. Down... More

The best! This historic 18th and 19th century property is charming. Lynda has done it up in an eclectic mix of antique and modern. The garden on the banks of Ardoch Burn is beautiful, little artistic vignettes scattered throughout. It couldn't be more comfortable or restful. But that's just the property. Lynda and Keith are great hosts. We happened to... More
