I wish I could rate this place with 6 stars. It was really awesome! After staying at 16 different places on our month-long trip around the UK, this was our absolute favorite. I picked this B&B because it is an easy walk to Doune Castle, which I really wanted to see because “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” was filmed... More

We stayed at Glenardoch House for 2 nights, & I cannot fault anything. The position of the house - next to Doune Castle. The wonderful garden. The clean & spacious beautifully decorated bedrooms, with the best bathroom showers ever. Exceptional breakfasts. Great sitting room downstairs with interesting books/guides etc. Only problem was trying to find & get evening meal in... More

At the front entrance of the Doune Castle we stayed in this lovely old stone house, being the last guests of the season. Spacious and stylish 25 m2 room; beautiful period decoration, with 4,5 m2 very modern bathroom having the largest (rain) shower of our tour. Very nice fresh roses on tea table and bedside tables; very nice touch. Down... More

The best! This historic 18th and 19th century property is charming. Lynda has done it up in an eclectic mix of antique and modern. The garden on the banks of Ardoch Burn is beautiful, little artistic vignettes scattered throughout. It couldn't be more comfortable or restful. But that's just the property. Lynda and Keith are great hosts. We happened to... More

Coming in late from Edinburgh, we were warmly welcomed by the owner. The house were so beautiful, romantic and cozy that we were both in love wit the place immediately. In our room everything we could want were already there: like coffee, the, biscuits, sweets, flowers... From our window we saw the garden and the old stone bridge. Outside is... More

We had originally planned to head to Glasgow for our last day/evening in Scotland, but the Commonweath Games put a scrimp in our plans. Not wanting to go into Edinburgh again (we had started our trip there) I looked for a location that would afford us a chance to visit a few new places yet provide easy access to the... More

We stayed at Glenardoch House for 3 nights at the end of a 3 week tour of the highlands. Doune is a great central location for site seeing or just staying put and enjoying this beautiful B&B. Glenardoch House is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood. We stayed in the front upstairs room which has a beautiful view of the... More

'Delight Marketing' is a concept whereby the person or company provide more than the customer expected; and this is such a place! The warmth of welcome, the site, the House inside and out and the food were outstanding. The room was furnished to a very high standard with extras such as chocolates, sweets, nectarines and a wealth of books providing... More

We stayed at Glenardoch House for our last night in Scotland and wished we had found it as our first. It was simply marvelous!!! The bedroom we had was very large overlooking the picturesque garden, the bed was sooo comfortable, and the bathroom was large, modern, tasteful and elegant, and clean. It contained all the touches you would expect of... More
