the resort itself was beautiful, but it also was taken over by someone else literally days before i got there.the staff didnt know i was getting married there except one person, gave my parents our room which was suppposed to be the honeymoon suite and feather pillow-free, which was funny cause the correct room number was written on our envelope... more

Normally start our vacation of the Caribean coast, but decided to head west first this year. Glad we read the reviews of Doubletree, and much happier than we expected. Not one to stay at big resort, but this was small enough to make it enjoyable. Great service, great food, nice pools, especially liked the variety of dinner meals offered. more

I highly recommend this hotel experience to anyone interested in experiencing friendly Costa Rican culture. You will be made to feel welcome. October 6, 2009 A quick note to thank you for a lovely stay at the Hotel Fiesta Doubletree Resort this past week. We had a terrific time.
