We had some trouble finding the hotel (don't follow Google Maps directions!) but once we arrived were greeted warmly and amazed at the incredible views from the hotel. The room was much more comfortable than you would expect for the price. We were warm and cozy even on the chilly evening, and had a wonderful stay. Our host even gave... More

Nice large, clean & beautiful room, provided with a stove and a refrigerator. A large balcony with great with of the hills around. Above all - the owner Marina is extremely friendly and informative. Surely come again if ever return to Crete.

Stunning views from this fabulous accommodation. Very friendly and helpful hostess, Marina made us immediately welcome with raki, biscuits and conversation. A superb village, just over an hour from Heraklion and 45 minutes from the outstanding Nida Plateau - wild Crete!o we will be back! Graham and Belinda Hulme

Marina Hotel is perched on the edge of the Nida Plateau, at the outskirts of Anogia. My studio room with kitchenette was spacious, comfortable, and clean, giving off onto a small balcony with an incredible view into the valley. Breakfast was a real highlight, prepared by the delightful and personable owner/proprietor, Marina herself, from local products (including yogurt made by... More

We spent one night in Anogeia and I think the place is ideal for a weekend or more days in the region. The room was very clean and the central heating was on before we arrived so that the room was warm and cozy. The fireplace was already prepared by the owner and all we had to do was light... More

Marina is a lovely young local woman who is eager to share her community and it's history with you. Angola is an unspoiled village on Crete with a rich history of music and handcrafts. In the Summer you can attend a traditional Cretian wedding when you visit.
