Apparently 4 star, this grandiose 19th century mansion in the centre of Ontinyent, on first impression, is magnificent in stature, clean and the reception staff are pleasant and in 2006, worthy of a Royal visit from the King & Queen of Spain, who actually stayed in this hotel. Who knows, possibly in the very bedroom we had? We arrived on... More

The Hotel is rated 4 star and deservedly so based on initial impression upon arrival, very classical exterior facade with a hint of Indian or middle eastern thrown in. On a couple of occasions we had an aperitif or two on the lawns outside which for a town centre based hotel was pleasantly quiet. What the hotel lacked were basics such... More

One of the meanest breakfast I've ever had! OJ, coffee and toasted breeze block. The bill was 7 euros higher than my company advise me, terrible wifi. Thankfully only had to stay one night. My room was cold and I couldn't heat it.

If you go on a Sunday do take sandwiches!! Not only is ALL (not exaggerating) of Ontinyent closed but so is the hotel kitchen which really isn't convenient for guests!! Disturbed the Sunday deskman from his long lunch to get a bottle of wine and some nuts. These we were not allowed to take to the pool area which was... More

We needed a place to stay about 50 to 100 kilometres south of Valencia. We had never heard of Ontinyent before, but Hotel Kazar looked attractive. And it certainly was! It is a lovely building, like a little Moorish style palace. Beautiful room, good size, very clean bathroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful, although they hardly speak any... More

I used to live here... But are going closer to the coast. But I mean this Hotel is marvelous. Stylish, clean, excellent food, helpful and nice staff, big beautiful rooms. So I will recommend that if you want to go inland from the coast to experience the real Spain, This is the place to stay... I would in recommending this... More

We used to live in this town but never stayed at the Kazar before. This hotel is one of I have ever stayed in. Helpful staff, great big rooms and superbly clean. Breakfast was a little short on choice but what there was available, was fine. Dinner menu was ample for our needs and the food was very good. I... More

This was a challenge, I was in Spain on business when I was more familiar to visiting Spain for pleasure so I was in search of somewhere decent to stay not too far away from my first appointment in the morning away from the more typical tourist hubs. Very quickly Hotel Kazar popped up. The reviews looked good enough the... More

The elegance hits you when you face the hotel with an almost castle-like spectacular front. All is very clean in this place, and space is generous, even though we got a relatively small but spotless room with tiled floors, moorish window, elevator, aircon and wifi. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a la carte without the carte, but the waiter... More
