We arrived at 2.30 am after a delayed flight - Fritz was waiting! We arrived for an 8 pm dinner at 10.30 after a difficult day - it was freshly-cooked and delicious. Lovely breakfasts, lovely house, lovely rooms, lovely pool, lovely hosts.

Mike and Fritz went above and beyond to accommodate us in their beautiful Chateaux for L'Etape du Tour. We were guests from hell with antisocial arrival, breakfast and dinner times. However we were looked after like family. Every room was immaculate and uniquely decorated. Would not hesitate to recommend a visit and hope to visit again!

This is without doubt the best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed in. Not sure where to start: Accommodation is spotlessly clean, Beds are super comfy, food is a very high standard, Great bathrooms with all necessities. Beautiful setting. But what really makes it special are the hosts Mike and Fritz. They are both warm and welcoming. They obviously... More

We have been walking on Chemin de St Jacques for 30 days and staying at bed and breakfasts and hotels. Both the accommodation and food here is the best of our trip. From the wine to the food to the fluffy towels and beautiful gardens everything is first class and our supper was superb You will be pleased if you... More

This B&B is a real gem you would not expect. The whole house including garden is a symphony of well collected pieces, a warm welcoming home, where you feel welcomed the first moment you enter. The rooms are very spacious, furnished with pieces all fitting together. The garden including the pool with a huge banana tree is placed in a... More

The Domaine de la Carrere is the most beautiful B&B I have ever seen. The house is beautifully decorated and so warm and comforting that you instantly feel at home the minute you walk in. But the warmth of the house does not compare to the warmth of the hosts. Fritz andMike are so warm and welcoming that you will... More

We stayed here to participate in le etape du tour and catch a couple of stages of le tour de France. The house is fabulous with large well equipped rooms and a beautiful garden and swimming pool for the more relaxing part of our stay. But the biggest thank you to Mike and Fitz who looked after us incredibly well... More

What a wonderful experience. Hosts are loverly. Their home is so intesting in its history. Food wow. And so relaxing. The pool is an added bonus. Beds are comfortable the rooms are huge including a separate dressing room and separate bathroom.

This was the best Bed and Breakfast my wife and I have ever stayed in. Wonderful Hosts, amazing home, Fantastic food. If you want to know how to enjoy life please visit. We stayed on two separate occasions (in two different rooms) and can't wait to go back to try a third. A real gem

Fantastic home, hosts and food. Plus it had the best garden and swimming pool we encountered on our tour of south-west France. We were very happy with our room (#4) at the top of the historic house. We stayed 4 nights and having one of their dinners on our first night, persuaded Fritz to cook for two more of them.... More
