The lady on Reception was an absolute gem and we so enjoyed meeting her. The room was on the very top floor and the stairs are a bit of a climb which will not suit everyone. Rooms are clean, but accomodation is worn-out and needs refurbishing. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is nice (very good coffee). Jut OK to stay 1 night, not for a longer stay.

A very good price. Friendly staff. No elevator. Free parking easy to find nearby. Carentan is a good place to star your D day tour ( The city appears in the Third episode of Band of Brothers).

lovely little place, great value and full of charm with willing and welcoming staff. decor a little dated but well kept. spiral stairs may be an issue for the less mobile, but we were very content indeed
