Stayed here as a stopover forth ferry from cherbourg. Room was clean (no room key, though). Host was extremely helpful with finding somewhere to eat Breakfast was great with excellent home made bread and preserves and fruit. Would definitely stay again I'd in the area.

Have had 2 great stays at this B&B since Sept 12. First was a 10 days in Sept 12 and second for 70th anniversary of D day this year. Both visits were for tourism of the local sites. Nancy was awesome and took great care of us ( 2 ex soldiers) and other guests. She helped with ideas as well... More

We stayed one night only while cycling through the area. It was easy to find, had secure storage for bikes, room was spacious with a couple of chairs, comfortable big bed and good shower. Nancy spoke good English which was a bonus. Breakfast was very good including fruit which we appreciated. Lovely rear garden. Excellent value. Would stay again if... More

Stayed here two nights in late June 2014. Wonderful experience. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, and a friendly host. What more can one ask for??? As an aside, two days is not enough time to see the Normandy D-Day sights, if that is your reason for visiting. Need a good 3 - 4 days.

We went to Carentan for the 70 anniversary of d-day. Our stay at Chambers d'hotel Charenton completed our trip. Nancy and Pascal's B and B was clean and quaint. The breakfast was delicious and filling for our adventure that day. Merci

We stayed here for the D day commemorations when both the hotel and town were busy. This accommodation is on one of the main routes into the town and within walking distance of church, square, canal, station etc but it is not a big or busy place and it was easy to park and get around. In the other direction... More

This is my second trip to France and have stayed at this B&B both times. The host, Madam Nancy is extremely pleasant. The B&B is very clean, the breakasts hearty and the host is quick to assist with any unforseen issues. She will provide directions to any of the major D-Day sites or local shops and services.

We arrived very late due to a car breakdown in Paris. Nancy waited up for us and gave us some muffins to tide us over till breakfast. Our room was huge and beautifully presented and after the noise and bustle of Paris, it was delightful to snuggle down in a roomy, comfy bed and a quiet room. Breakfast both mornings... More

Our host Nancy was just perfect. Don't worry about this place being on a main road. I slept in the room on the corner and it was quiet all night. The house is superb, quite a treasure an the breakfast was sublime. Throw in a perfect restaurant recommendation with a free lift to and from, what more could you want... More
