What more could you want from a Country Inn, great location, friendly and professional staff, its own Micro Brewery, great food and very dog friendly. We booked a family room, which was great value, clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom, coffee making facilities and beers in the fridge (nice touch on a warm day after a long drive). The... Lovely little campsite, very handy for visiting NT properties such as Montecute House and Barrington Court. We stayed 1 night in our campervan - quiet site even though it was fairly full (bank holiday weekend). It was lovely to be able to book a table in advance for the evening. Great food excellently presented. Would visit again.

Stayed for one night with our 2 daughters, in a family room. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely, big and modern bathroom. The fridge had a couple of free beers and bottled water, which was a nice touch. Staff and owner were very friendly and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Only a mile away from... More

We chose this pub/b&b as the location is very handy for a local wedding venue. The really is a very good place to stay. Very nice bar/resteraunt, great room, fantastic facilities, very friendly staff and an amazing breakfast. Highly recommended.

We are very lucky that this is local for us . It has recently been refurbished and looks lovely, clean and fresh but not losing the look of a traditional country pub. Real ale is brewed on the premises, and tastes great. Food is fab all cooked to order, with plenty of choice . Dogs are welcome
