Stopped over on our way to Cornwall. Lovely location, warm friendly welcome from the staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Great country village location with ample parking. Room was excellent, easily exceeding our expectations. Far better than the usual budget chains with neighbouring "restaurant" pubs. Enjoyed the in room complimentary beers ! Pub is popular and well supported. Food was excellent. No complaints... More

We stopped here for two nights on our way down to Cornwall and we are so glad that we did. We picked the Masons Arms as the website stated that they are dog friendly - and dog friendly they most certainly are. Our dog was allowed to accompany us both to dinner and breakfast which was very much appreciated as... More

So here's the thing..., you arrive at one minute after 2:00 pm and most places say "sorry, kitchens closed"; so how refreshing to be told,"yes, that's fine, what would you like?" This quite gem, tucked away in a quiet corner of Somerset not too far from the main route to the West Country, is welcoming and boasts three excellent beer's.... More

The rooms are quite spacious with nice furniture and comfy beds. The setting is picturesque and quiet. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food is nice and the drinks are too. This is a good place to relax in, or to use it as a base for exploring the surrounding areas. Highly recommended.

Tucked away in the village of Lower Odcombe, this hotel/pub combines the best of olde worlde pub life with modern accommodation facilities. We always use this when we have to travel anywhere near Yeovil. Great food, great atmosphere, attentive staff makes for a great experience.

Just returned from a one night stay, I was attending a wedding do at Brympton House 5 mins up the road and this was ideal. Very impressed, probably one of the best B&B I have ever stayed in, lovely setting, quiet and picturesque, warm welcome, room was fantastic, couldn't believe a bathrobe and complimentary drinks in the fridge were included,... I REALLY enjoyed my brief stay at the Masons Arms! In fact, it’s difficult to know where to start! Maybe the village itself. Really lovely and picturesque but with a down-to-earth, breathing, living heart and soul – unlike some of the twee Cotswold villages I am familiar with. The Masons Arms seems to fit the bill nicely. It’s in a... More
