We stayed in the bushman hut, as we are always looking to experience new things. Bed is comfortable and clean. We used the ablution block's toilets and showers. The showers and toilets and no very private. The ablution block is covered by reeds and grass and you can look through it at same places. There is no electricity, only a... More

My rating is entirely based on the experience rather than the accommodation. It was extremely memorable to meet the !Kung tribe members and witness some fireside dancing. Could I have lived without the giant spider in my hut? Yes! But you can either stay at a chalet on the grounds, camp, or chalk it up to the bushmen experience. If... More

We stayed at the campsite and some friends booked a room. The rooms were very nice and clean. No Airco. Campsite was good. Not so big. You had the possibility to stay in a real bushman hut. The Bushman walk is a special experience if you never did it before. The hotel is surrounded by bush so there is nothing... More

This was a planned stop on our African safari back in November 2014. Months prior to our departure, my husband had arranged to renew our wedding vows "Bushmen" style! What an experience! The staff went out of their way to plan a truly spendid wedding that brought traditional food, festivities, song and dance toghether. It was an incredible experience and... More

We did not spend the night here, we just did a walk with he bushmen and they explained to us how they survive in this barren area and how they use plants to cure all kinds of problems. Very friendly and enthousiast people, worth a visit!

I do not wish to sound negative and support what was eruditely written by the Canadian Richards. However, the huts on offer did not seem inviting and the bed in one hut was rusty. Lights went out suddenly and I am not sure how people would have managed inside those huts. Maria and I slept in a tent. We had... More

We stayed here one night as part of the G Adventure 54 day overland tour. The campground offers a desert walk and then after dark a performance of hunting and entertainment dances / singing by the Gwikwe bushpeople. The campground brings in different bush tribes on a rotational basis to provide information about living in the desert as well as... More

I stayed here for one night as part of a Nomad trip. The chalet has all the basics with a large outdoor bathroom. They turn off the generator at 10 PM and turn it on again at 6 AM. This means that the there is no light in your room and no warm water for your morning shower. The narrow... More

Really it's a 3.5. Stayed in a bushman hut. There are opportunities to do a walk to learn about the San Bushmen and to swim in an old quarry (refreshing!). Toilets and showers were good. The night my group stayed here, they did not provide enough food for all the people having dinner (but we all paid the same price).... More

Lovely peaceful and relaxing environment - great to learn more about the San Busmen and also experience a dance which was great despite the cold. Huts are great, campsite is huge and the facilities are good. Plenty of blankets to use which is a bonus as it was freezing. Food was splendid, I was also offered an evening meal without... More
