I went by bus (Seabelo Express) from Gaborone to Ghanzi (700 km, 8 hours), a very nice way of travelling. Leaved in time (6 am), arrived in time (2 pm) with two stops for food and so on. The staff from Dqae Qare Game Reserve picked me up in Ghanzi and it took about half an hour to go to... More

I travel to Botswana a lot due to business and came to Dqae Qare in April. I can't say enough positive things about the food. Dqae Gare Game Reserve belongs to the original people of the Kalahari Desert, the San (Bushmen). All the staff, except for the manager, are San, and are happy to share their knowledge with the visitor in a series of options, from a 1 hour bush walk with a guide to several days living with a family out in the bush....
