We had the pleasure of staying at Beechgrove for three nights mid to late August with our lively 21 month old son. Jane immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed on arrival. The suite is beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. Some lovely personal touches make the accommodation welcoming such as Jane's fabulous homemade biscuits, toys and bubble bath for children... More

I took my mother on a 'memory lane' visit to this part of Cornwall a few days ago, and we spent a couple of nights at Beechgrove B&B, in Launceston (5 minutes from the main A30 trunk road). Our choice of property was based on previous TripAdvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed - it lived up to its reputation... More

It was such a pleasure to be involved in the trip down memory lane that my guests had planned, and a real delight to meet these guests who were so appreciative. The best part of running a business like this is the people you meet, and the friends you make however briefly along the way. We are delighted we helped... More

We stayed for one night and wished it could have been longer. Lovely personal touches - kids bubble bath/books/toys etc. Jane went over and above to make us welcome and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and it was great to have the whole suite with the extra rooms. We can't recommend Beechgrove highly enough... More

we are so pleased you enjoyed your brief visit, and hope that we will see you again in the future. It is very much appreciated that you took the trouble to let people know that you enjoyed your stay at Beechgrove and found our amenities for babies and children useful! We realise how difficult it is to travel with small... More

Staying at beechgrove was a wonderful way to spend a first family holiday with my partner and seven month old daughter. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, and it was nice to have a sitting room and extra bedroom to spread ourselves out in. As they only have one set of guests at a time, we didn't have to worry... More

It is so special to know that we are the very first family holiday destination for this little family, and if we can make it easy by providing baby items, and help with dietary needs then we are delighted. Our motto is "hotel comfort, personal service" and for a young couple with a small child and some allergy issues, we... More

We stayed for four nights and Jane and Richard were very welcoming and attentive to us . Our suite was spacious and tastefully decorated with everything we needed. Our breakfast was cooked beautifully every morning, with added touches including her home made bread and marmalade. The marmalade was so delicious we even bought a jar home too. The location is... We were delighted that this couple chose Beechgrove for their midweek break, and managed to get out and about to get a really good idea of the delights Cornwall has to offer. We love to help guests choose their day out if they want help, and offer a large range of books and maps in the guest sitting room to... More

Jane and Richard have created an exceptional B&B at Beechgrove. Their website describes it as a "Luxury B&B". It is indeed luxurious, but mostly because they have thought of everything, thought everything through and everything works - beautifully. And as everyone says, Jane's cooking is fabulous.

Luxury has very personal interpretations and we are aware that we do not offer priceless antiques and sumptuous materials, but to hear a guest say that we have thought of everything and everything works means we have achieved exactly our aim, to provide efficient, comfortable accommodation with special touches. I am particularly grateful for this perceptive and generous review, and... More

We stayed just one night at Beechgrove B & B but wish we could have stayed longer. Jane and Richard were very welcoming and friendly. Our suite was beautifully decorated and the attention to detail was wonderful. Home made biscuits were waiting in our suite which went down a treat. Breakfast was very tasty, I could not stop eating Jane's... More

It is very kind of people who only stay one night, often on business, and who still take the trouble to share their thoughts and experience. We always enjoy meeting people from a variety of places and with all sorts of reasons to be in the area, from business to holiday, relative visiting to weddings and even funerals, everyone has... Beechgrove is our bolt-hole of choice as a family; not just somewhere to stay, but the very reason why we return to the area again and again. For us grown-ups it is somewhere to reset our clocks and indulge in some rare time as a couple over Jane's sublime evening meals. It is also one of the highlights of our... More

We stayed as a family over the bank holiday weekend, this was our second stay whilst visiting family in Launceston. The accommodation is peaceful well located and the hosts Jane and Richard were exceptional. Jane and Richard thank you once again for a wonderful stay at your amazing B&B. This was our fifth 5 night stay and I can only re-iterate my comments from previous reviews. We are so delighted that for the fifth consecutive year, Beechgrove has been chosen for R&P's holiday centre, while they enjoy walking the many picturesque and beautiful walks in the locality and further afield. It is always a pleasure to cook for people who really enjoy their food and appreciate it, and I look forward to finding interesting new dishes... More
