The property, food and service are a delightful reflection of the owners - tasteful, imaginative, personable, creative and professional. We've paid more and enjoyed a stay less! The only minor downside is the on street parking can be a challenge!

I challenge anyone to find a better B&B in the UK. The facilities are first rate, in fact the rooms would grace a 4* hotel. Breakfast well-prepared and substantial. Vegetarian offerings for the wife couldn't have been better. Warm and friendly welcome. Located in a quiet road, with the town centre within easy walking distance (10 mins). Launceston is within... It is heartwarming to read such generous words and to know that guests have really enjoyed their stay with us. We are always happy to accommodate eating choices wherever possible and Jane enjoys the challenge of finding new and exciting dishes for dinner as well as breakfast. I hope that another happy family celebration brings you this way again, and... More

We found this B&B through the Visit Launceston website and it was absolutely perfect. The accomodation is an extremely comfortable suite and consists of a double bedroom, sitting room, large bathroom with both bath and shower, and a single bedroom. The owners who are really friendly and welcoming can adapt the accomodation to suit with a choice of double or... More

How very kind to write such lovely things - your review is very much appreciated and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. Many people find full dinner too much so we are very glad our light bite menu worked so well for you. We look forward to seeing you again in the futute. More

Perfect location for our overnight stop in Launceston. Wonderful accommodation and breakfast with views to open country (allbeit a bit misty!). Good access to the A30 and only 20 miles to the North Coast.

Recently spent a night at Beechgrove. The height of comfort and really good food. Evening meal and breakfast served in the drawing room with a view over surrounding area was a treat. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area. Sheila & Philip T

We had the pleasure of staying at Beechgrove for three nights mid to late August with our lively 21 month old son. Jane immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed on arrival. The suite is beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. Some lovely personal touches make the accommodation welcoming such as Jane's fabulous homemade biscuits, toys and bubble bath for children... More

We were delighted to offer a few days of relaxation for your family, and are always delighted to welcome small children. Having no other guests means children can relax too, and we are always pleased when parents take advantage of this secure environment to be able to have a quiet dinner once the little ones are asleep! We hope to... More

I took my mother on a 'memory lane' visit to this part of Cornwall a few days ago, and we spent a couple of nights at Beechgrove B&B, in Launceston (5 minutes from the main A30 trunk road). Our choice of property was based on previous TripAdvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed - it lived up to its reputation... More

It was such a pleasure to be involved in the trip down memory lane that my guests had planned, and a real delight to meet these guests who were so appreciative. The best part of running a business like this is the people you meet, and the friends you make however briefly along the way. We are delighted we helped... More

We stayed for one night and wished it could have been longer. Lovely personal touches - kids bubble bath/books/toys etc. Jane went over and above to make us welcome and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and it was great to have the whole suite with the extra rooms. We can't recommend Beechgrove highly enough... More

Staying at beechgrove was a wonderful way to spend a first family holiday with my partner and seven month old daughter. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, and it was nice to have a sitting room and extra bedroom to spread ourselves out in. As they only have one set of guests at a time, we didn't have to worry... More

It is so special to know that we are the very first family holiday destination for this little family, and if we can make it easy by providing baby items, and help with dietary needs then we are delighted. Our motto is "hotel comfort, personal service" and for a young couple with a small child and some allergy issues, we... More

We stayed for four nights and Jane and Richard were very welcoming and attentive to us . Our suite was spacious and tastefully decorated with everything we needed. Our breakfast was cooked beautifully every morning, with added touches including her home made bread and marmalade. The marmalade was so delicious we even bought a jar home too. The location is... We were delighted that this couple chose Beechgrove for their midweek break, and managed to get out and about to get a really good idea of the delights Cornwall has to offer. We love to help guests choose their day out if they want help, and offer a large range of books and maps in the guest sitting room to... More
