Had a wonderful stay here. This is what all guest houses should aim to be, warm, friendly, homely. Breakfast was one of the best. Can't recommend more highly. Hosts were lovely and welcoming. Bed comfortable.

Stopped at this accommodation on the 25 /10 / 14 as it was local to an event that I was attending. I had booked a room with en-suite facilities. The room was excellent and had lovely views. The hosts Bernard and Mary were very welcoming. I attend events usually once a month or so that requires me to find suitable... More

We stayed one night as guests of Mary and Bernard. They are wonderful hosts. The room was of a generous size and breakfasts very nice. The property is easy to find and a very short drive to the centre of town. Linda and Greg.

This was a return stay for me with Mary and Bernard. The location is perfectly situated for my business trips as Tyne Wells is located immediately off the A30 at Launceston and has wifi available! The ensuite accommodation is quiet, spacious and very comfortable with excellent views across the green fields! Breakfast is more than ample and I would highly... More

A classic bed & breakfast with superb hospitality and very much the personal touch. The room was spacious, light and comfortable with agreeable views. A fine breakfast was shared with Bernard (mine host) and his friends, one of whom later caught up with me in Launceston and took me to lunch! Impersonal it was not! And to wrap things up... More

We stayed here for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. An ideal location for the places and, events that we wanted to visit.Dingles Vintage fairground and,the Launceston steam rally. We also had time to visit Bodmin and,Tavistock with a drive over Dartmoor. Our room was spotless and, very comfortable with uninterupted rural views. Buzzards were visible from our window. Breakfast?,probably one of the... More

We stayed at Tyne Wells on the first night of our LandsEnd to John O'Groats bike ride. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who gave us cakes. The room had lovely views over the countryside, but was only 15 minutes walk into the town centre. The room was a large en-suite with TV and tea and coffee making facilities,... More

We had an ensuite room for 2 nights. We chose Launceston because it is centrally located between the north/south coasts of Cornwall, offering flexibility as a base for day trips in the south west. Tyne Wells House is conveniently located just off the A30. The Pennygillam Industrial Estate is close by, but due to the terrain and positioning of the... More
