Stayed here whilst cycling LEJOG, arrived wet and bedraggled, and they were most helpful. I had the single room with separate bathroom which was small but cosy. It's a fair trek and uphill to the town centre. Being so tired I ventured to the local just down the road which was pretty good. Breakfast well prepared and good value for... More

This was spur of the moment booking as we needed to visit a sick friend in the vicinity and we only needed a one night stop over, however what a pity it was only one night. We received a very warm welcome from Bill & Marylin and after a 5 hour drive they were more than happy for us to... More

My husband & I made an overnight stay in late October 2012 (sadly to attend a funeral) and found this to be a first class B&B. Immaculate household, fabulous breakfast & friendly hosts. Thoroughly recommendable.

A great B&B for a stopover on our trip to Cornwall. We had a the double room which was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and there's a pub, the White House, only 5 minutes walk from Rose Cottage, which does reasonable evening meals.

My wife's parents recently had a severe flood so we were not able to stay with them for this trip to the Westcountry so they booked us into here for a night. The couple running this pretty little B&B were very welcoming and friendly. The room was cosy and comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. What more could you ask... More

Very charming B&B with lovely hosts. The room layout was a little unusual- with a little anteroom to the twin room acting as a seating/dressing and shower area but this just added to the charm of this quaint place. The breakfast was yummy- local poached eggs cooked to perfection! The hosts were friendly without being intrusive. The only issue we... More

Our double en suite room was very clean & furnished beautifully. Upon our arrival at 7pm, It was a welcoming sight after a long day's journey. 'Rose Cottage' overlooks the sweeping hills of Launceston & the views are magnificent. In the morning, hosts, Marylin & Bill served a delightful breakfast complete with sausage, eggs, fresh grapefruit sections, freshly-squeezed orange juice,... More
