If you looking for an Imaculate, quite, quality escape from the city but not to far from Auckland then this is the place. Welcoming hosts, excellent food, Well pointed decor, super comfortable beds. Make sure you check out Hunua falls while you are in the area ;)

Beautiful outlook from this stunning B&B. We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were lovely and very accommodating. The room was stunning, very clean, warm and comfortable with a peaceful rural view. We were treated to a delicious breakfast in the morning which my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend staying at Punanga Lodge.

We have just returned from our trip to New Zealand and Australia. We had a really long flight and were exhausted. My husband booked Punanga for its close proximity to Auckland Airport (approx. 20 mins) and he could not have made a more excellent choice. Jan and Graeme were so extremely welcoming and made you feel that they really enjoyed... More

My husband & I stayed at Punanga Lodge recently & would highly recommend it for other couples or couples travelling together. The rooms are very nicely decorated, very clean & the views are wonderful. The lodge is about 30 minutes from Auckland, in a quiet, picturesque location. The hosts Jan & Graham were very friendly & hospitable & the breakfasts... More

The breakfast was delicious especially the self made goat cheese and the coffee. Also the dinner we had was great. It is finally the best... More

I've just attended one of Jan's Culinary Workshops (Festive Foods Made Easy) with two other friends and we had a ball. Great fun and lots of fantastic tips with lovely food to taste as we went, along with bubbles to get us into the Christmas spirit!! All in such beautiful surroundings. We can't wait until the cheese making courses next... More

We travel extensively, and have stayed in many B&B's. Punanga Lodge is by far the Best! Rooms are light, comfortable, very very clean and relaxing. Every request was met with a smile and can do attitude. The food is amazing, the Interior Design would Rival any 5 Star Hotel. This B & B is a must for those with a... More

As part of our senior staff development we went to Punanga Lodge to begin our strategic plan for I.T. within our school. Right from our entrance to our farewells, Jan and Graham made us feel valued, welcome and part of their family! Such the perfect place to mix business with pleasure! Unbelieveable hosts who served us the most deleicious food... More
