Wonderful weekend break at The Falcon. The converted barn room was spotless with excellent facilities! Power shower almost thumped you into the floor on full pelt - brilliant! Quality toiletries, wifi, comfortable bed and lovely bedding in quiet surroundings. The food was superb and eating outside on the terrace, then lying back on the sofas with a martini into the... we moored near Hatton Locks on a Sunday in July, and the pub in the guide book didn't serve food on Sundays. They said the Falcon did, but finished at 6pm. We rang the Falcon and booked a room (they did not finish at 6pm!). It was about 20 mins walk but well worth it. Lovely roast and our friends... More

We (two adults, two teenagers and an Old English Sheepdog) went for an evening meal here. The weather was fine so we sat outside in the large garden (there is also a large covered outside seating area). The menu was not that extensive but Wednesday nights are steak nights when you buy one steak and get the second half price... More

What a joy to find great service and food at 9pm on a weekday evening in a country pub. Coming from the New Forest, we are used to overpriced places advertising their food as something special, only to find that the majority of them are poor. The Falcon could easily have been the same, but everything about our visit was... More

We visited the Falcon for Sunday lunch, and my companion had the roast beef. Having eaten here twice before, and had an excellent lunch each time, I felt confident that the beef would be tender and tasty. My companion could hardly cut it. It had been cut too thick, and was very tough. Also the Yorkshire Pudding was a solid... More

Dear Diane Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our restaurant. I am so sorry your visit to the Falcon did not meet expectations, particularly as you say you have previously had such good experiences with us. As hopefully you can appreciate all business can occasionally suffer from un-forseen circumstances and for us Sunday was one... More

Myself and my wife was on the way to Knowle and decided to stop for a drink and came across this pub. When we looked at the menu for a snack it was very good value for the money we ordered sandwichs. When they came it was on a wooden block with lovely fat real chips not frozen. And a... More

Ignore the very plain exterior which shows no hint to comfortable and stylish atmosphere inside Nick and Jason have achieved so much so far and I'm sure the outside will similarly benefit in the future We only had a snack lunch which was fine Menu choices looked excellent and we will book for Sunday lunch soon

I stayed here for 3 nights on business. It was ten times better than I expected as I avoid pub B&B's like the plague. The rooms are the other side of the car park and so very quiet from the pub noise, although the locally nesting House Martins were audible. The room was functional, very clean and fully equipped. Even... More

We arrived at the Falcon Inn having booked over 5 months ago as we were celebrating my daughter's 10th Wedding Anniversary in Hatton. We were greeted with the news that there had been a mess up by staff and our booking cancelled. However there was a nearby similar B and B accomodation available and we went there and enjoyed our...
