My Uncle visited this establishment late 2014 and asked for a table for one. The staff were rude and ridiculed him, directing him to what he describes as a "small camping table" in the foyer. He was more or less laughed out of the building and later that evening, very upset, he told me and my brother of his experience.... More

Rooms need updating, uncomfortable beds, when we arrived in our room there was no heating on and window was open. Bathroom needs updating, couldn't turn the tap off in bath then it switched to shower on its own and fixtures worn and look tired. Really wouldn't stay here again.

Booked here for xmas lunch with 12 in our party. Greeted by confused staff, found Buck's Fizz by accident. We were put into a back room with 5 different height tables in the middle of the room. No music, no table cloth, scant xmas decs in bowls and glass towels as napkins. No xmas atmosphere or xmas greetings. The food... More

A truly forgetable expensive experience, never again. A party of seven of us sat down for Christmas Lunch yesterday. The service we received was very poor to say the least, not one person wished us a Happy Christmas, no christmas atmosphere in the place at all, no Christmas music playing. We weren't offered our complimentary drinks on arrival we had... More

I organise top level dining throughout the World and live locally and since Marco Pierre White took over the ownership of Wayford Bridge Inn, have dined occasionally but had not felt the impact of this celebrity chef. The quality of the cuisine had not changed but it was a convenient place to eat at reasonable prices so it got our... More

When mpw opened, this place had a fantastic menu which has now shrunk down in size and offering to a few basic dishes that a rudimentary chef could heat up, Nothing whatsoever for vegetarians. WHY?? Very disappointing, horrible, tasteless, colourless, processed ham and not even a decently cooked chip. I despair. It is nearly 2015. The rooms are very basic... More

I would have to ask what the interior designer was ‘on’. The hotel reception has been removed so now you have to check in at the bar. The lounge area is dark so now you will probably get eye strain trying to read a newspaper. The once bright and open reception area is now a dark and dingy games room... More
