We stayed for two nights recently. We were guests at a wedding held at the Celtic Ross hotel on New Years Eve. This B&B is the most charming place with all the home comforts and yet in every way like a hotel. We are certainly glad that we stayed there and not the hotel itself. Sinead and Dan are extremely... Can't add any more superlatives to previous reviews. But, we have to say it's an Irish B&B experience beyond hype. Never stayed in a better one. The owners couldn't do enough for us - "beyond the beyonds". Thanks Dan & Sinéad, a real credit to you. We'll be back....(be warned). Des & Louise More

Dan and Sinead the perfect hosts, the location was brilliant for where we wanted to be. The rooms where fantastic, nothing was any trouble, you asked for a service, it was sorted as quickly as was possible. I would recommend Debarra Lodge to anyone who would love to have a superb stay away from home. This is a brilliant Home... More

We are recently back from 9 nights in West Cork and Kerry and for the first time in years decided to b&b it. We stayed in a total of five b&bs in all on our trip, with deBarra Lodge being our first port of call. The house is absolutely beautiful and finished to the highest standard. Its divided in half,... I took my 84 year old mother on a 4 day nostalgic West Cork touring break. We stayed in deBarra Lodge on our last night and enjoyed a warm and wonderful Cork welcome from Sinead, Dan and their delightful children Cian and Ava. On arrival, we were met with a scalding pot of tea and homemade delicious banana bread to... More

Sinead and Dan are lovely people and I would like to think we ended up as friends. To be honest, there is absolutely nothing that I could find fault with: De Barra Lodge has stunning views, is as immaculate and clean as is humanly possible (frighteningly so!), the bed and bedrooms are beyond impressive, the welcome was warm and genuine... Stayed for one night in De Barra Lodge, as we were attending a wedding in Glandore. The owners offered to drive us to the Wedding venue if we wanted to leave our car behind! The house is stunning and the rooms likewise, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and it was a very pleasant... More
