This hotel is really beautiful. It's located in Rosscarberry just by Rosscarberry beach and lake. From the dining room you can see the bird life and fish jumping in the lake. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff are lovely - very caring. I was a sole traveller and they always put me in the best seat by the... More

As ive been to West Cork many times Ive never stayed in Rosscarberry. Glad I did. One of the most beautiful places on earth with a hotel that is second to none. Wonderful staff, food quiet nice, and all in all a great view and a quiet night sleep. The library area is quiet nice for a nightcap and for... More

I stayed at the hotel for one night on my way through Rosscarbery. Everywhere was booked up for miles around and Maxine went above and beyond to ensure i got a room for the night. The rooms were nicely decorated, and most importantly clean. The bathroom was spacious and had everything you needed. There was a wedding on but it... More

Spent a lovely few days in the Celtic Ross and got lucky with some fine weather as well. The hotel is situated on the edge of a lagoon and has lovely views . We were happy with room, service and quality of food during our stay. Certain parts of the hotel do need a makeover however. The dining room chairs... More

Dont normally do this kind of thing , but i recently stay here with my 2 kids ( aged 4+8). Staff were very friendly and very informative. The girls at reception also made us feel that they genuinely seem interested on how our day was ......which was nice ......dont get that kind of service in other hotels. My wife and... More

Had a lucky escape I think, attempted to book to stay on a recent visit to the area. Unable to book due to hotel being full, so stayed in a local B&B. Decided to visit Celtic Ross Hotel on evening for a meal. I was extremely disappointed with the hotel. The restaurant was quite busy and service was ok, but... More

Went to the Celtic Ross recently and was very disappointed. First off the heat in the hotel and in the bedrooms was so unbearable we had to sit outside in the rain. Our view from our bedroom was a graveyard. We were not aware of the €25 extra if you want to have a sea view. Breakfast in the morning... More

Stayed for 3 nights in August. Hotel is very well located and as we had great weather it was lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view. Rooms were a bit dated but clean and staff were very nice. Only negative I had was the bar food. The salad I got was awful looked like it had... More

Stayed 3 nights in August - cannot fault the hotel on service and location. We would recommend this hotel and we would stay again. The staff were very professional and always willing to help. The food in the bar and restaurant were great value and the wine list was not over priced - breakfast was buffet service and again was... More

Stayed with the 'Silly Sunday' deal. Was impressed with the food. Had superb crab to start, haddock for main & chocolate brownie to finish. All of which were excellent. After dinner drinks in the Abbey Bar around the corner. Overall great value and will definitely be back.
