Me & my boyfriend stayed here last week. We arrived at 1.30pm and we were waiting until half 3 to go up to our room as it wasn't ready. The rooms were very clean & I couldn't fault them only I felt they were slightly old fashioned. We had lunch which was lovely, reasonable too. €4.50 for soup and homemade... More

Recently had lunch here with family on a trip to Cork. We sat in the area with a view over the bay which was stunning. The lunch menu is varied and lots of delicious options. Unfortunately for 2 of us dining we had dairy and wheat allergies so could choose nothing on the menu ;-// On mentioning this to the... More

Two weeks ago 42 ladies from our club set out on a 5 day coach trip to the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery in West Cork. It was organised for us by Select Hotels Ireland and we had a wonderful few days there. The hotel is in a lovely spot overlooking Rosscarbery Bay, great for walks. The staff in the... More

The best hotel in west cork, staff are warm and very welcoming and nothing's to much trouble. There food menus are well worth the visit. The small village has a general store, Chinese and a takeaway plus three nice traditional pubs

The hotel was very nice, the location spectacular, but the best bit was the staff - warm, genuinely nice people. Cant recommend enough! The area around the hotel is breath taking and an easy drive from Cork.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have the Celtic Ross as the reception venue for our wedding in April. The staff were so very helpful and friendly from the first day we stopped in, unannounced, to take a tour of the hotel. We were planning our West Cork wedding from our home in Boston, which can be stressful,... More

My wife and I stayed here three times last year and twice so far in 2015. The food in the restaurant is top class, ditto for the bar, but the breakfast (especially the scrambled eggs) is the best in the country. Reception has been second to none, one problem with booking was resolved with the minimum of fuss. The setting... More

Celtic Ross Hotel is next to the causeway on the main road just outside the town of Rosscarbery. The hotel's arrival must have been good news for the area, since stones were laid in the entrance by two different Taioseachs (a foundation stone and a completion stone.) We stayed over a Saturday night on our way from West Cork to... More

The Celtic Ross is situated in one of the most beautiful places in Ireland - Rosscarbery . When we are doing the West Cork Circuit on the bikes we always make time to park and watch the world go by here . Friendly service and good quality food and of course a shandy to cool your tonsils. Lovely sit out... More

Dear Donal O, I am so pleased that you feel the same way about Rosscarbery as we do! I think it is the best kept secret on the Wild Atlantic Way and one of the best (If not the best) towns in Ireland. It has it all and is perfect for a biking holiday with everything the West Cork Coast... More

We were 20 ranging in age from 4 to 80 with 10 aged 16 or under out for a family meal together before we all went back home, in Ireland, Australia and England. The staff in the restaurant didn't bat an eyelid at the size of our group and couldn't have been more helpful courteous, efficient or attentive, they were... More

Dear Peter W, I remember your group well and may I say, it was an absolute pleasure looking after you all. I think it was Deirdre who looked after you so it is no surprise to read how attentive the service was as she really is a star! I am delighted that you enjoyed the food. The team in the... More
