This was our 2nd stay at Rosalithir and again we enjoyed it. The rooms were very nice ( also the shower was very good ). The people were very charming, lovely and helpful. We arrived at evening and for us they called several good restaurants to see if they were open. We will definately come back. Catherine and Finbar thank... More

An Rosalithir is a great B&B with two amazing hosts. At our arrival we immediately felt at home, as we were pampered with freshly baked scones and some coffee and tea. After we shared some stories, we were shown our room. There was a great atmosphere, almost like being in a dollhouse! The typical Irish breakfast was delicious. Scrambled eggs,... More

On our way back to Cork Airport (June 11th 2014) we (2 adults) stopped for one night in Rosscarbery. We booked ‘Bed & Breakfast’ at ‘Rosalithir’ ( www.rosalithir.com ). Because of well denoted signs we found the very nice house easily 2km near the town. There we met the very kind and humorous host-family Catherine & Finbarr O’Sullivan with their... More

A very warm welcome indeed. A true family home and interactions were invited among all. Local information and history was easily forthcoming. The views were peaceful and accommodations very nice. This is what we had hoped for but not what we found at all our stays over our 36 days and 33 B&Bs. Thanks to Catherine and Finn for reinforcing... More

My Dad and I really enjoyed a warm welcome from the O'Sullivan family. We were offered scones and tea upon arrival and then Catherine suggested they drop us down & pick us up from Rosscarbery town so we could have a glass of wine with dinner. That was very convenient. The full Irish Breakfast was delicious - we even had... More

I have just returned to Australia following a week at the Roalithir Farmhouse. From the original inquiry and booking to the arrival everything was easy, Catherine is a very friendly and helpful lady and Finbar is a true gentleman. We travelled with two young daughters,9 and 5, they loved the house, the location and the chance to wander in the... More

I have just returned from my fourth trip to Rosalithir, this time with my son, previously with my mother & sister, next with a friend, then with my daughter and grandchildren. Each time our stay has been very pleasant indeed. We have stayed in both the b&b and the self-catering farmhouse. Catherine and Finbarr never fail to ensure that your... More

We were very fortunate to stay at this lovely house with the very friendly O'Sullivans for 4 nights last week, July 2012. We have two girls, ages 10 and 13, who were very warmly welcomed by the O'Sullivan's children who were ages 13, 15, 17 and up (5 in all). Our girls played on the beautiful green grounds of this... We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights. Catherine and Finbar (and their children) were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to assist us with tracing our family history by putting us in touch with a local historian. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We were welcomed with tea and scones, and received excellent full Irish breakfasts... More
