As a part of our travels through Argentina, we just spent one night at Casa Piedra, but the wonderful welcome (Sandra speaks great English!), typical local style (the charming hosts built it themselves) and delicious breakfast made it an immediate hit with us. Cannot recommend it enough, also as a the perfect base for visiting the Los Alerces National Park,... More

Dec. 29-31, 2014 It was our best accommodation in Patagonia. Friendly hosts and great breakfasts. Great place to celebrate New Years Eve at Ruta 71 Restaurant. I love Trevelin. Great base for visiting Los Alerces National Park.

I stayed here both before and after a rafting trip in Futaleufu. While I didn't have any expectations going into it, I was very pleasantly surprised with this little gem of a hotel. While they had a feedback form, I didn't fill it put because there wasn't anything I could think of to improve. The rooms were spacious and comfortable,... More

Trevelin is winning many new friends as a base for Parque Nacional Los Alerces, for the Carreta Austral in Chile and for, nowadays not so exciting, the drive down Route 40 on the Argentine side of the Andes. It is a lovely Welsh town, small and very friendly, but it doesn't exactly have the latest in 5 star accommodation and... More

We spent one night in Hosteria Casa de Piedra on the way to Glaciar Perito Moreno. After spending 10 nights in hotels this was for sure the one we felt like home. They were so helpful and friendly. And the breakfast was homemade and amazing!

We spent only one night at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The owners are very helpful and nice. The room was spacious and perfectly clean, warm. Decoration is simple but nice. Breakfast was very good and typical from Argentina. We recommend this hotel if you go through Trevelin !

I had a wonderful time at Trevelin during the Welsh celebration of Saint David's day, patron saint of the Welsh. A friend suggested making the trip and picked this wonderful place. It is a small hotel, with ten or so rooms. Ours had two very comfortable single beds, a table for setting up your computer if you wanted to do... More

A bright and cheerful hotel with a warm and welcoming family. Breakfast was delicious and we were happy to have it self-serve as all 5 of us had different ideas of what makes a perfect breakfast. We very much appreciated the help with reservations, directions, etc provided by Rosana and her son. The hot showers and big fuzzy towels were... More
