Overall this is a gorgeous resort. A bit more expensive than what I typically would spend on a 5 day vacation like this (I enjoy going all-inclusive), but the resort and service was fantastic. I'd say 95% of the time I felt as though I got what I paid for. I was there for a friends committment ceremony so didn't... more

I returned last night from the Gran Melia. Let me start out by saying that I loved it & will most def be back in the future. We had the regular garden room, which was just perfect. The grounds are beautiful on the resort. Very maintained! The staff is very helpful & went above and beyond to give us helpful... more

We went to PR for some R&R and were not disappointed! It was expensive to eat there, but we knew that going in. The food was wonderful and the staff fantastic. If you bring a computer, bring your own Cat-5 cable as they charge $30 for one. That was probably our only issue. more

We stayed at this hotel with a group of 25 of us for a wedding. The hotel is about 30 min. from the airport. We knew this going in so we rented a car. Overall, the hotel is clean and well maintained but there was someone in our group that had a room that smelled like mold as other people... more

We stayed at this resort for 4 days and 3 nights to get away and unwind from our hectic life. While some say this resort is remote, since it is 30 minutes from San Juan, we found the seclusion perfect to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. We could have stayed closer to the city but that's... more

I will try to keep this as postive as possible but this resort has some problems. First off the staff was absolutely incredible. From arrival, check-in/out, bartenders, and butlers were all top notch. Friendly, professional and willing to do whatever it took to make our stay wonderful. Many of them thanked us for spending the time and money in the... more

My husband and I decided to stay over night in this hotel to have time for ourselves on our anniversary. We picked this hotel because it was close to our house. We booked online through hotel website. When we're checking in the front desk offered if we want to upgrade to royal service. But we decided not to just because... more

My wife and I stayed at the Gran Melia in Rio Grande for a week in October and had a great time. We found a great deal through cheapcaribbean.com. The location of the hotel is great, only about 30 min from the airport in San Juan and close to many great attractions like the Rainforest (10 min) and the Bio... more

We stayed here for an entire week, during their low-season and had a wonderful time! I have to say that the butler that took care of us was INCREDIBLE... yes, we had what they called butler service and I highly recommend you go for it if visiting this hotel. Our balcony had an amazing jacuzzi on it that our butler... more
