Rooms a bit tired, needing renovation. But outdoor amenities very nice. Views were stunning. We found the food above average, and most servers were very friendly, though definitely operating on "Island Time". The spa was excellent, and offered some good promotional pricing on their specials. We recommend renting a car so you can visit some off site restaurants and activities.... More

Fell in love with Puerto Rico, but then again maybe it is anywhere you find soft warm sand and blue sparkling salty water. The weather was cozy and sunny with a few showers sprinkled in. The resort was luscious. Maybe we hit a slow time, the resort was not busy at all. Staff, each and everyone was professional and courtesy.... More

This hotel is was not nice to stay at. The rooms were not comfortable and smelled bad, the crew that worked there didnt want to be there since they rather speak to each other than the guests and the pool area was crazy. I did not have a good stay at all. More

The Rio Mar Beach Resort is fine for people looking for the resort experience. The pool is great, it's right on the beach, and the rooms are fine. El Yunque National Forest is very close, which is the best hing about it. The spa is good. It just doesn't offer an authentic experience of the culture. I could have been... More

Went for a couple of days of great golf and was not disappointed. It was easy to find the hotel shuttle service at the airport and they did a very good job for the $75 round trip. The one van was nearly full so they rolled out another for me and a couple so as to not make us wait.... More

We usually avoid these kinds of remote golf-tennis resorts like the plague. I was a little dismayed that we'd checked ourselves into this place that was pretty far from San Juan. And the check-in wasn't great. There was quibbling about "ocean view" vs "ocean front." We had "ocean view" which meant there was a slim view of the water, and... More

My overall experience of Puerto Rico was amazing! Even the resort was beautiful and I loved the friendly service, but when it came to dining at the Japanese restaurant I ended up paying around $87 for three plates, two miso soups, plus drinks and tip. Another expense is taking a taxi; those were the most expensive so I would advise... More

I was disappointed with Wyndham. Our first room was moldy. Our second room had a shower that was so small, you get sprayed in the face once you open the door and makes a mess in the bathroom. There were sand fleas in the volleyball court probably from the stray cats they have running around. I got home and I... More

Our whole extended family stayed here for a week and overall, it was wonderful. It was, however, very pricey, so be prepared. The rooms were nice, but a little on the small side. The food was outstanding, as was the service. The pools and beach were excellent, and it was nice to have an adults-only pool and hot tub for... More
