The location of this B&B is lovely. That said, the room rates are very overpriced for what is on offer and the rooms are very small and pokey. I expected more for the room rate and found the place unimpressive.

We loved the Willow Guest House, we loved Hemingford Grey, and we loved the River Great Ouse, a pretty, pretty stream. We only wish we had booked for a longer stay. Our room at The Willow was very comfortable, and internet access was excellent, which was important: For their peace of mind, our daughters back in Canada and the States... More

Difficult to improve on previous remarks! Nick and Kate are warm and friendly, there if you need them, but not intrusive in any way. Beds are comfortable and very quiet, so you'll get a good sleep. The only criticism is that we like a bath, and the shower rooms are very small (with no soap bar, tissues or cotton wool... More

The Willow is gem of a B&B in a beautiful village location. Hosts Nick and Kate made us very welcome, provided an excellent breakfast and gave helpful tips on local pubs and restaurants. The area around Hemingford Grey is excellent for walks, cycling and of course boating on the River Ouse. We made use of the new path that runs... More

A bit of the beaten track so nice and quiet. Clean and tidy establishment and well decorated. Did not have the breakfast so unable to comment on that aspect. Room a little small but more than adequate for me and also had ensuite. Recommended.

This was our third stay at this excellent guesthouse. Five things make for a perfect stay here. The first impression as you draw close is the beauty of the settling. Second its the near total peace and quiet in the village which is not on a through road. Then its the warmth of the welcome and the well decorated rooms.... More

Lovely guesthouse, comfortable and very clean rooms. Beautiful location 5 minutes stroll from the river. Very friendly and helpful owners. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately did get enough time to stay here, as we were at a wedding locally and didn't get there until 11.30pma (however hubby did pop back to check in before 9pam as stated) I was the photographer at the wedding and was totally run off my feet by the time we got there, a quick shower and a cuppa was... Many thanks for taking the time to let us have your positive feedback following your stay. We are pleased that you managed to relax a little despite your hectic time! Thank you for the comments regarding towels, we are currently in the process of upgrading our linen hire and are looking into the bath sheet option. We are always happy... More

I am a truck driver, and my employer booked this B&B for me, not realising it was in a village. I arrived quite late in pouring rain after having to walk about a mile from the nearest parking place I could find. I arrived to find the place deserted with a note in the porch to ring a number if... More

Small B&B in a quiet backyard. Tidy and cosy rooms with comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast with fresh fruits and really good coffee. Running track / walking trail along a nice riverscape. Phantastic pub next door.
